I was also duped by a Southwest Airlines Facebook ad, following the link, then backing out at the last minute. I also got a call from 971-220-1894. Luckily, I can go online to my mobile account and block the numbers.

I responded to free tickets to disney but also backed out because the form was asking too many personal questions.  Got a call from this number, woman was pleasant enough - wanted to send me magazines.  I told her no thank you, I already receive too many.  She kept asking personal questions, and I told her to 'cut to the chase" - evidently I insulted her so she hung up on me.

I got a text for a 1000 dollar best buy gift card and when i went on the site it asked for my phone number email adress and asked me if i was over 18 diabetic and some other wierd questions i filled it out then i was taken to a page asking me for my credit card information when i got to that page i left the web site and i got a call the next day from some lady and she told me if i wanted to sign up for the 1 million dollar sweepstakes and told me i needed a credit card so i told her i dont have a credit card i was stupid to think that i would actually get a free 1000 dollar best buy gift card and im angry that i gave them my phone number and email

Okay, I did the same.  Makes sense.  I sent them a text to quit f****** calling me!  (Will only work if it's from a mobile phone though...lol)

He told me it was sweepstakes.com, I just got off the phone with them, they told me because I signed up on their website (which I never did), I have been entered in several contests. Also he told me because I have a debit or credit card (which I do not), that I have been chosen as one of the select few to participate in the $1,000,000 give-a-way. I told him that I did not have any cards, and that I never signed up on their website, and to remove me from their call list and he hung up on me.

Why can't something be done about these types of phone calls.  They come from all different area codes and number.  They knew my name, all sorts of noise in  backround as if it is a call center.  Why can/t the FCC shut these people down,  When I questioned one caller not this particular number he just said FU.  So wjy isn't something being done.  I don't know why I answered this particular call, just have to block another number on my cell and remember to do it agin in 90 days.

The same thing just happen to me. But I told the lady Stacy that I didn't need the magazine cause I get them online. Ans she said, "Well I can't convince you bye" and hangs up WOW

Got a call from this stupid jerk kept calling me in the middle of class. UGH. Don't call me or I will end these  people a virus

Got a call from these people this morning stating that I was a finalist in a potential sweepstakes. Knew my name and address :/ Started telling me I was going to get sent information on a gift basket with several different gift cards and such in it and tried to sell me some magazines. After being talked to by 3 different people and keeping on telling them I didn't want the magazines one lady sounded frustrated and finally hung up with me. Wanted to know if I was married, where I worked, etc. but never asked for card info. Not knowing if it was legit I refused to answer questions.
