This call came in on 5-24-2012 in the afternoon. No message and when I called the number back, got a "not in service" message.

I got the same carpet cleaning automated pre-recorded call with the same message at 11:43am 05/31/2012.  Legitimate businesses don't market like this.  Creepy.

I got a missed call from this number at 6:58p.m, no message.

Keeps calling, don't know who it is. I am on the dnc list, a lot that does when u keep getting these calls.

Same as everyone else; Cathy calling to clean my carpets.  I listened to the entire message and it said to press "1" to be connected to a customer service rep. I pressed "1" and was immediately disconnected.

Just got called less than 5 minutes ago, called back and said that was not in service. This happens allll the time!

Just received a call from 703-359-6443, and they left a silent message (nothing just 30 seconds of silence). I called back within a minute to see who was calling and got the message that stated the number was no longer in service. Indeed, clearly, this number is in service, but by who???? Why????

Likewise, we got the carpet cleaning call.  Aug 11th, 2012.  We had carpet cleaned in 2000 by someone else locally here, not them (who are far away).  Spam call for sure because we have no business relationship with these guys.

Just received a call at 3:30; do not know anyone in Fairfax, VA so did not pick up.  No message was left on answering machine.

Received call on cell phone registered with Do Not Call. Was from a "carpet cleaning" company calling "previous users" (I have no carpet to clean and never used anyone). Called number back to hear that the number "is not in service".

Well, they are still at it on Oct 3rd 2012 because I just got a call from this number.  Answered it and got the prerecorded voice from "Cathy" about carpet cleaning.
Pressed 1 to speak to someone so I could tell them my number was with NoCall and to take me off their list but only got dead air and hung up

Same as above - they've called twice. Never been a customer. We're on the Do Not Call List. How can you stop this crap? Did press 1 got an answer phone and left them with a blunt message - but I suspect idiots like this will just continue. If anyone knows who is behind it I'd like to know.

Uniden makes a cordless phone system that allows you to block a phone number w/o getting the phone company involved.
