This number is from Verizon.  After a detailed search, I was given Verizon's Consumer Complaint number 1-800-483-7988.

I called them and filed a complaint against the company calling from 703-758-7256.  They kept trying to transfer me to their cell phone department because the number was calling my cell.  I would not let them do that as I am not a Verizon Cell Customer.

I insisted, and they took my complaint.

Let's all report this to donotcall.gov - my cell # is on the do not call list yet this # we are all complaining about has been calling me for weeks; everytime I pick up the line disconnects.  Waste of my cell minutes and the persistence of these calls for no reason is really starting to make me angry - why call if there is no point?  If they are trying to drive people crazy, it is sure working on me!!!!

These scum have been calling us for months saying they're American Diabetic Supply. Medicare fraud hotline says they are a phishing scam from another country. However, this number comes up on people search as a landline. I now live in SC but lived many years in DC metro area.The authorities don't seem to care about these criminals. Someone living around there might be able to pinpoint a landline and compell some kind of police to crackdown.They call us several times a day and get nothing but still call and sometimes go "ape" on the phone. Usually a woman with an accent. Sounds Arabic to me, others say spanish. I play mindgames with them but still they call. They're like ticks. I'd love to see them busted in some way.

I just got a call again with an accented woman asking for my mother by name and saying they are american diabetic services(changed from the usual assistance in name).I told her there are no diabetics here and she asked if she could ask me some questions. I said sure (to possibly get info out of her). Before she could start there was a loud white male voice announcing someone had just made 3 "sales" followed by applause. I've been told by Medicare fraud hotline that no such business exists and that they are a phishing scam from another country.After hearing that "supervisor" I believe they probably are located in northern Virginia and surely someone can find them and induce a police investigation of some kind.

they called today, telemarketing sounds in the background, woman says she represented an insurance company. We're on the do not call list but I forgot to tell her to take us off the list. They're marching to their own beat while breaking the law.

This number calls me every day at about the same time every day. I can't even tell anyone to take me off their list, because there is never anyone there.  What is the point in this call?

Steve from an auto insurance company I've never heard of called. As soon as I said I was on the do not call list and told him to not call this number again, he hung up. 3rd call in 3 days.

They called again, and I answered the call.  A man named Ralph said that his compnay (a mysterious "we") had some lower insurance premiums for medical insurance and homeowner insurance.  I told him that I did not want to receive this call, and that I had placed this number on the do not call registery.

I get repeated calls from this number--was able to engage caller with a question, "Who are you and why do you keep calling?" They disconnected!!!

Who is this number calling me.  I'm on the DO NOT CALL list and have been getting tons of these unknown calls.

Called,left no message.  Caller ID came up (unknown). Want it to stop.

I am registered with the Do Not Call Registry.  I still get about three of these tele-harassers calling me each week.  I NEVER answer them.  The FCC needs to require that ALL cell providers, including those who provide cell phones for the poor and disabled, to make it possible to block the phone numbers from these tele-harassers.  I have yet to discover any of these people being a legitimate business.  It's ALWAYS tele-harassers, tele-scammers, tele-spammers and the like.  The FCC needs to crack down on these people and fine them HIGH fines, cut off their cell phone services, charge them with fraud and throw them in jail for a significant amount of time so they will lose the motivation to even try this ever again.

got a call from them on my cell phone @ 3:24 today, Wednesday, Feb 1.. what a bunch of MORONS!!!!  I said Hello,, there was a delay,,,a male with a heavy foreign accent asked for "the owner of the phone",, I told him to call AT&T,, he said "[***] YOU" and hung up,,,,I hope these MORONS get what is coming to them,, doesn't appear the FCC is doing anything to regulate this crap... when I called back,, of course,, "number is not in service"... go figure..

Another in a series of 'no one on the other end' phone calls.  Must be some sort of dialer, maybe looking for FAX machines to send ads to.

Just got this call... they knew my name and said they were from a mortgage service company and wanted to conduct a survey.  The person spoke with a British accent and was on a cellphone.  Needless to say, I told them I was busy and hung up.  I guess I should have played along and give bogus info.
