Why are they calling in the 1st place if ppl aren't calling police to begin with???

person is calling 911 and having the police come to our house in the middle of the night

This was the Fairfax police confirming my non emergency call.  Needed them to come for a noise complaint/mental issue with my neighbor.  This is/was legit at time of call 12 Aug 2017

That's because it's a spoofed number.  It's not real, that's why when you call back you learn that it's not a working number.

Around 6am, heard voice on cell phone. I think it said they were responding to a 911 call made from cell phone. No call of any type had been made from phone.

Just picked up voice  mail  saying they were from Fairfax county police and that they had received a 911 calls from my cell phone. I was to call 911 if valid; if not, disregard voicemail.

Just got a phone call from this number to my Vonage starting with 703 and talking very fast, like a script, kind of pushy. When I answered in spanish he transferred to a "911" number and a lady answered asking if there was any danger or problem in my house.  There was none and then both hanged up.  Could not verify that is was a real 911 . When I called back I got a message that it was a non working number. VERY WEIRD

It’s a police station. My noonlite button was hit on accident and they called the police thinking I was in danger. This number called 3 times. It’s a good thing I was t in danger because the police didn’t actually come.

This number call me at 2am and tell me that Im calling an ambulance but I'm sleeping at that time
