Called again from 704-246-9016. They call and hang up. If you call them back, bell ring no answer. If this is Charlotte Firefighters they are calling a Cabarrus County resident and have been advised for 16 years this is a Cabarrus County residance. Freeking idiots!

This number called twice in a row and hung up when I answered. Not very professional. My company cell phone is on the national do not call list. I live in Texas but my work cell phone is out of NC so I would not be interested in donating to an out of state organization in the first place.

Why are these scumbags calling Kannapolis numbers?

Just got a call and when I answered they hang up. I call back from a different line and a recording answers: " Thank you for calling the Firefighters association, please leave your name and number and we'll call you back".

No idea if this is legit, or they are trying to scam people.

Phone rang, no one there when I answered the call.

I just got a call from this guy who wanted to know if I was a business. Weird person. Hang up on them.

Got a call from 7042489016. Its a company asking for money from the Charlotte Fire Department. I asked that they put me on the DO NOT CALL LIST and the guy asked me if the fire department did something to me. I said no I just don't want calls every night. His smart answer was he did not call last night and then told me that they were exempt from the DO NOT CALL LIST.
I know they did not call last night from 7042489016 , they called from 704-927-2275. Guess I need to call my friend Chief Hannan or John at the firemans hall. They would be upset that FIRECo the company begging for money is jerks.

Charlotte Fire Department, your are great but you really need to get rid of Fireco......

I recieved a call from 7047114563. Just a lot of letter x's appeared on the caller i.d. I picked up the phone and didn't say anything, The woman asked for us by name and I still didn't say anything, so she started saying hello in Spanish. Then hung up when I still wouldn't say anything.

That is a great idea, giving directly to the firefighters.... however, if you take and donate money and drop it off at a local fire station... there is no guarantee that the funds that you donated will go to the firefighters. .  By county law, funds dropped off at the station, must be submitted to the county.  There is already a budget that pays for the fire fighter's salary and everything else at the station.  By giving to the RPFFA directly, you are assuring, that these funds go without doubt, to fund these surrounding county expenses.  In the eyes of the fire fighters, you are the real hero's in our community.
