It was a call from a prison or jail allegedly. But as you listened to the recorded line it spoke about an inmate trying to call you but then went into a sales pitch or something like that. Very strange.

Call back to the number does, indeed, get InmateSales .com.  A bot voice gives you options for language, then goes on to deliver it's sales message before telling you the call will be monitored and recorded.  In this case an second ring took me to a representative who asked for the number called.  I explained that I was not called and was curious as to why someone would receive a call.  She explained that they do not make sales or cold calls.  If someone received a call it's likely that an attempt was made by an inmate to reach them.  She went on to explain that payment had to be secured before the call went through.  They have a website but this is NOT the number listed there.  If you think someone was attempting to reach you, you may want to call but use the number published on the website.
