Be aware, these guys keep looking for PS3/phones...now are using Saul Morris name!

As of 9.9.2014 these guys are still at it.

First let me state that I was not actually victimized by this individual, but only because I was smart enough not to send him the camera he "wanted to buy."

This individual contact me about a post I had made on Craiglist selling a Nikon D90 Camera. It immediately struck me as suspicious but I pursued it to see if it was in fact a scam. He asked me to ship the camera to California and said he would cover all shipping and PayPal charges. Again it seemed fishy to me. Again, I pursued it while doing some research about this individual. That's where I came across this site detailing his actions over the last two years.

He finally proceeded to send me a fake PayPal email originating from the email address: sendstracksinfos@accountant.com which I promptly forwarded to spoof@paypal.com

While the email looks fairly legit, there was no money in my account.

Here's all the information I was able to find on this person:
Name he used with me: Saul Morris
Email: saul.saul.m@hotmail.com
Phone Number he gave me: 260/220-8645
Address He Gave Me: Saul Morris 418 Grand Ave. Apt E Spring Valley CA 91977

Other Names He Uses: Saul Lowry, Vikki Lowry
Other Address: 1937 Hunter Point Road,Upper Lake,CA 95485

October 1, 2014 - received an email from Sail Morris w the same phone number and CA address.

Was in response to a camera on Craigslist.

Glad this was here!

I'm glad this was here also. He responded to my Craigslist ad also stating the same things. Asked no questions about the camera and just asked if I would ship to CA and he would pay all the shipping and payments through PayPal. He was going by Saul Morris with the 260-220-8645 number. did anyone message him back and let him know your on to his scam or just stop replying to his messages?

Just got an email from a Saul Morris about a camera on Craigslist as well. Different number. Glad I google him.

Thank you so much for your post... this rat tried to steal from me too. "Saul Morris" replied to my Craigslist listing selling a new Canon digital camera. He wanted to buy , asked if I would ship to Spring Valley , CA he was very eager to pay with Paypal and also offered to pay shipping, no problem.. VERY FISHY.  a google search the name and found your sad experience

I would to catch rats like this, using a faceless means to rip of the honest public, YUCK!

I just today 10/16 got the same email. asking to buy and have camera shipped to Spring Valley, CA Thank you for your post , hopefully the police will catch it idiot soon

Thank you for your post... "Saul Morris" just tried exactly the same process with me on a Craigslist listing for a new camera.

You saved the day.. Lets get this idiot!

Exact same thing happened to me today. Needless to say I'm going to tell this guy to go [***] himself.

He's still at it!  I did not see this thread until I had already figured out he was a scammer, but man it was close.  He was trying to buy my Wii U and I just had a bad feeling the whole time.  We contacted PayPal once we got the email and they confirmed it was bogus.  He has given me or called me from 4 different numbers so far.  Did you know there are apps for being able to call someone and make it look like it's coming from any number you choose???  Why do these apps exist???

Here's the info I have:

Name he gave me:  Ron P or Ron Pie
Address:  418 Grand Ave, Apt E, Spring Valley, CA  91977
Phone numbers he gave me or called me from:  937.598.9707, 707.701.3240, 760.358.0565, 888.221.1161 (<-- Yes, that is the PayPal customer service number...tricky MF).

This ron pie assclown is still at it... Found my macbook post and tried the whole bogus paypal confirmation email. Beware of this idiot.

Well, he tried to buy pc from me. But his scam email went to my spam. So when i checked for his mailing address, it turned out to be sendstracksinfos@accountant.com.
The number he used this number  760.358.0565.

He got my 14 year old for a laptop.
she had it listed for $400. We told her to research it and that it seemed fishy.
.she took his bait.

And nothing we can do about it...

What a jerk.

The creep is still active, this time under the name Mark Salmon using the email mentioned in this thread: sodiqsanni23@gmail.com

He's trying to buy an artwork from me, offering to send me a cheque. Not sure how that would work out for him but thanks so much to this thread for the alert.

Mark Salmon also tried to buy one of my paintings from my website. Said he would send me a check and he wanted my address so his "shipping agent" could pick it up. Said he was going to move to the Philipines with his job as an "ocean engineer". Do not understand how he plans to make money with this as it seems artwork would be a hard thing to move. I have not responded and am waiting to see what his next move is. I wish I could think of a way to catch this guy/gal!

My daughter has some of her art hanging for sale in a local shop. This dirtball contacted the shop and asked if they had any art for sale, because he was looking to buy art from up and coming artists and wanted to spend about $1,000. My daughter agreed to sell him a piece for $750, and then comes the obvious check scam email.

He used the email sodiqsanni23@gmail.com and the name Mark Salmon.

We need to track this creep down and kick his butt to the curb.

This is what he sent me..
I get one of these each week.
