i use to get daily calls from this number last year. now its not as frequent but i just got one today.
its not network specific but it is all targetted towards cellphoned. yes i am in the vancouver area as well. my guess is that rogers and other companies are trying to use up your minutes or make you use long distance minutes by hiring people to dail you numbers.

an advice that i found from other posters is to pick up and tell him that you will drop the current service you have if they do not stop calling. this worked for me last year. however im not sure if its convincidence or not. good luck.

Just got a call as well the recorded message said "as a valued Telus customer you are eligible for $3,000 travel money"

I got a call from this number. I answered it and they said "Hi, because you're a valid Telus customer, you've won 3000 travel dollars. Press 1 to accept this." I hung up at that point. I'm sure this is a scam. I am on the Telus network so who knows how they got that information about me.

I got a call earlier today from this number and as soon as I picked up, it started off with "As a valued Zellers customer...". I don't shop at Zellers. I'm pretty sure it's a scam. I got a similar call yesterday from (604) 239-4468. I'm on Rogers. I really, REALLY, hope that they haven't sold my info.

Yeah I live in Abbotsford, I just got the call altho I picked up and it was a deadline .. I tried to call it back but it says the number can not be completed as dialed.... strange ... Im on the Rogers Network

I just got a call from this number...I am with Telus and I'm in Vancouver.   I answered because I felt the need to blast somebody. (long day) and it was a recorded message that said "because you are a valued Telus customer, press 1 and you will receive 3000 reward travel miles".  I hung up...pressing one will probably authorize some scam company to take over my bill or something.  Don't want to play...just wanted to blast somebody.  My cell is on the DO NOT CALL marketing list.

In Surrey, with Telus, had a missed call from the same number 45 min ago.

Ya. I just a call from this number too -- about 15 mins ago.  I didn't pick up.
I'm w/Telus Mobility, am here in the Metro Vancouver area and am getting sick of these calls.  Been getting these calls on both my home phone and cellular for a while now -- even though I press the option to have my number "remove", it still occurs. SO annoying!

Just got a call from this same number.  When asked they said it was "Ben Harper" , but Im good friends with him and know it was not his voice.  He began singing and playing the banjo very loudly.  Can someone tell me who this is?

I received the call too. Answered it. Awful computer voice stating I'm eligible for 3000 travel rewards as a loyal customer of Zellers...which I am not. Had to press 1 to cont. Smelled fishy so I hung up.

You are exactly correct about this being a scam.  We are in Calgary and the city police are warning people about the auto-dialler scam.  Pressing 1 takes you over to a bogus company number and they try to get your personal info from you.   The police advise everyone to just hang up and block the number if you can.    Stay safe.

The recording played is such crappy quality that I couldn't tell whether they said "Telus" or "Zellers", but I'm guessing it's the former, since it appears they're targetting cell user.  I hung up a few seconds into the message.

I got this phone call at 15:45, Jun.16. A guy in the other end says I win $3000... I hang it off while he's still speaking. Should be something like answer machine.BTW, I am in Alberta.

I got this call on my cell as well - a newfoundland number that doesn't ring when called back.  Based in Vancouver.
