Leaves message in a foreign language on my cell phone.  No idea what the caller was talking about.  My number is on the Do Not Call registry.

Left a message in what sounded like Chinese

Looked up in the white pages it's the consulate general's office for China in Houston.

It's a scam

I also received a call from what's listed as the Chinese Consulate in Houston, Texas a couple of hours ago. They left a message, but I don't know what it says as I don't speak the language.

Same here, left a message in some chinese or japanese language. Blocked.

I didn't answer and they left a voicemail in a foreign language.

Called at around 10:35 (CST) and it was a recording in what may have been Chinese, I pressed “0” and it took me to a person who also greeted me in the foreign language. As soon as I said “hello” in English, they hung up on me.

These bad guys are  from Taiwan, they are very famous on these criminal activities.

Got the call, didn't answer...how odd.

I received an unsolicited call on my cell and the caller ID showed the number +1 (713) 520-1462. I answered and it was a recording with a woman talking in an Asian language. I just hung up

I received a phone call on my cell from 713-520-1462 also.  Woman's voice and I did not understand the message.  Strange that this phone number is calling so many people.

Received a call from 713-520-1462.  I did not answer and they did not leave a voicemail.  Looked up the number and says it is the number for Consulate General of the People's Republic of China in Houston.

Chinese Consult in Houston.  Called them back from my work number and they have a recording stating that someone is calling a lot of US citizens and wanting personal information.  They said it is a scam.  Do not answer from this number.
