Caller ID read: GARY SHIH - male caller rang our business number asking for a name that telemarketers always use, as it's confused with the business owners actual name. They always get it wrong, so it's my clue that it's a telemarketer. I suspect it's a phishing scam targeting business owners. When I asked them to confirm who they were trying to reach, they hung up on me, probably because I was making their task difficult. We aren't easy targets. I've been screening calls for almost 20 years.
