- DonnaJust curious to who would be calling me from this number! I did not hear my cell phone ring and if I would have I don't think that I would have answered it...
- JorgeCalled me at 11:00PM CST on a Friday night! Annoying. Sounds like they're coming from somewhere outside of the US despite the CA area code.

- lalathey called me about 5 minutes ago , asking if i would like to lower my interest rates on credit card. i dont own one. but i recently just got my phone number about 2 months ago and the number has been calling me at least twice every 2 weeks. its so annoying. i finally pick up , and they instruct me to press 1 to speak to a representative. representative immediately says "hi, are you interested in lowering your interest rates" and i say "i would be interested that this number not call my phone anymore" and im hung up on. very unprofessional. they MUST be people that are scammers. you call the number back and its all of a sudden "not in service" smh. fly by night business. they call me from different numbers under the same area code. they are probably trying to get your credit card info so they can rack up debt on your credit card. smh.

- HawaiiI got a call from this number on my cell last week and hung up. When I told my husband he said that number called him too, he pressed 1 and they offered to lower his interest rates. When he asked which card were they reffering to they hung up on him. Than today while we were having lunch that numer called his cell again. So nI answered pressed 1 and aked how they got the number and of course they hung up. How annoying, who the hell are they and is there anything we can do? Tried calling back and got a message number is not in service, weird. We are in Hawaii but it appears this is happening all over the states and cell phones only. BEWARE!

- Making Lemonade replies to Annoyed PersonLOL :D - good for you! My ex-husband lists MY number on each and every debt now runs up so we get /MANY calls in addition to the "regular" crazy ones like this and politely giving his numbers out did not stop them from continuing to call us so my kids and I have also got a few little routines down now too born out of one phone call where my oldest child and I REALLY just snapped and "played" with the caller so now when one of these bill collectors or telemarketers ask for me or the ex (and say lets just say my name is "Wendy") so instead of saying "Wendy is not here/don't call/we're not married/her does not live here/I'm not interested, etc. (obviously we all know NONE of those work anyways!!!) I ask in a VERY anxious and hopeful and slightly nutty voice "do YOU have Wendy - is she with you?" (slight relief as if they have found a lost pet that I had put out fliers for) "I REALLY want her to come back - do you have her? Can I see her? Can I just talk to her? Please? Please? I just want to see her again - please? Please?" That THEY want to talk to Wendy which only makes me ask for her(myself) even more desperately and usually the caller is trying to explain slowly that THEY are looking for Wendy too but I just keep insisting that "Yes, I want to talk to her too, please, please?!?!?!" and BEG to talk to her and see her as frustration is REALLY setting in with the caller, THEN one of my kids acts as if they just barged into the room pipes in and starts screaming at "me" and "threatens" to beat me to a bloody pulp (they all sound like adults so it;s a wee bit intimidating) and usually the caller panics at this point. The first one was just silent for a second and then said "Oh my..." and then hung up and this was a collector who used the trick "thi sis MR. So and so calling for Alan where he puts himself in a place of authority using the title of "Mr. but addresses the call-ee by their first name and he was aggressive and MEAN and I have never laughed so hard as I did when he finally hung up with the "Oh my..." AND I have NEVER had ANYONE call back a second time after they have been subjected to our "family dysfunction" and I have tried EVERYTHING from asking to please be removed to explaining that I was divorced and that my ex-was not here and even giving HIS numbers out to these conscienceless merciless people NO avail and human decency means NOTHING - so, we got creative :) Hope it helps someone else too!

Anytime you have an annoying caller, someone phishing or threatening report them to the above email address.
I just gave them a head's up on the 714 number. Yes, it may be no big deal, usually a throw away phone; but remember those things cost $$, if we report their numbers each time they will have to keep using up the monies they steal to buy more.- Caller: unknown
