That exact company called me claiming they needed to talk to my grandpa about some "legal" issues.
I knew he didn't have any and knew these people were fake! Claiming that they needed him to get in touch with "John Hardin" thank god I googled this number up and found all this information
Before I actually told my grandpa to call!

I received message from John Hardin office today, said I had 24 hrs to call them back to resolve financial issue concerning my property, which he named,

Yes they called....again! First it was about a US Bank account that I closed well over 5 years ago, now it's about property I have. Wow they must really need this money! Oh, and if I don't call them back (which I didn't) they will proceed without me. Never mind the fact that I NEVER received any paperwork from them regarding the account. I called the bank, they couldn't even open the information to see anything the account was purged.  Really!? What people do for money.

I got the same call everyone else got ("by the end of business. TODAY.") from some snotty sounding surfer bro a couple of weeks back.  I actually thought he said CPS instead of CCS, and being as I have no children, I ignored the message.  I got a call from Adrianna Martinez on Friday saying if I didn't call back, all decisions would be considered final, etc.  So I call back.  Adrianna was very nice.  She told me she worked for the law offices of John Hardin, and that I was being sued by USBank for breach of contract on the grounds that I had defaulted on a credit card (true story, except that I settled it and paid it off almost three years ago).  I explained to her that I had paid that off, and she told me she could put a 72 hour hold on my case if I would look for my zero balance letter mailed to me when I paid off the debt and fax it to her.  I found it and faxed it to her the next day.  I called her Monday morning (today) to make sure all was well, and no one answered.  I left a voicemail.  Adrianna has not called me back, and after discovering this thread, I know why.  Someone did call me a couple of hours ago claiming to be "John Hardin" from "corporate" and asked to speak with me.  When I said, "This is he," "John" hung up.  I called the number back and got "Dave" at CCS.  CCS isn't even a real collections agency--this is a scam 100%.  While I think the claim of "threat" based on the voicemails we have all received is a stretch, I can't imagine that it's lawful to impersonate an attorney on the phone for reasons of obtaining information.  "Adrianna", "John" and SurferMan, you can  [removed:lang]

Received a call on my work phone and a female left a voicemail regarding the "property at 115 124th Street SE, unit M1 in Everett, WA".  I have not ever lived at this address and they said that this is for "Jason D Mutler" - a name I don't know.  She was talking about the owner of the property or something like that.

The message said to call the offices of John Harden and reference case number: "CRT-1959793-WA".

I won't be calling back, but they seem to have the wrong number.

wow they left me a message today with no name  crt1882252-OH and I must call close of business today or i leave them no choice....

What is going on here and why are they doing this / and the strange thing is everybody seems to be connected with US bank is some way. I had a man who kept calling me had all my information Mike was his name I have reported this to the FTC the phone number that showed up is 855.225.4156 855 is a toll free area code which the lady who did not leave her name today said i had to call 715.415.3948 with a CRT reference number I don't own property i live in an apt

am I now?! hahahahaha! thats why i paid the debt to the correct collector, have the receipt, and the FTC told me they r a scam! Im guessing you are Moe Gates then? lol!

These guys are definitely bullies. Or try to be. You just gotta show them who is boss. The guy that calls me is named Joe Morgan. And I've even talk to the guy that is/was trying to serve me who's name is Bob. I'm dealing with these guys for an old Discover debt that is legit. They do offer you the opportunity to settle out of court, which I did. And they'll offer you a payment option. Which I set up. But like I said, they ate bullies but I can be a bully too :) Anyways, dealing with Joe Morgan, he was aggressive, but I was aggressive back. He tried having control over the call, but he didn't control [***]. I eventually got my out of court settlement payment plan set up, and out of principle, I made sure the first payment didn't go through. Joe starts calling me off the hook and we eventually are back to square one. Bob (the guy trying to serve me) shows up at my work but I warned the receptionist at my work he might be showing up, which he did. And he got shut the-[***] dooooown. He calls me up trying to bully me and I just laughed in his face and started talking crap. He told me I was screwed, I lost my out if court settlement and that he/they will eventually get what they want and he hung up on me. I laughed. He had mentioned he had been trying to serve me for weeks apparently but was unsuccessful, obviously. He was apparently pretty bitter about it. Anyways, so the weekend hits and Monday rolls around and guess who calls me. Mr. Joe Morgan. By the tone of his voice, I could tell he was annoyed but he was surprisingly not aggressive at all! He wasn't being a bully or anything hahaha. I had control. Remember how Bob said I was screwed and I lost my out of court settlement? Joe offered a better out of court settlement and over more payments. I have the means to pay this of in one payment so what I'm going to do is this coming Monday when he's expecting a partial payment I'm going to call and pay the entire "out of court" balance off, which yeah they'll get what they want. But it's less than what they wanted. And they had a hell of a time getting it :)

Sorry for the long post but I kept reading about all these people getting bullied so I just wanted to let people know that there was one guy that bullied them back. It was fun to bully a bullier.

received a message today stating that "this message is regarding the address off of ****street for *my name*, there are some concerns we need to discuss with you as the property owners."

I RENTED this property for three years and moved out more than five years ago. Nice try.

I would love to try and take care of whatever issue or old debt they are trying to claim, but giving false information over the phone is incredibly shady and I will go straight to the credit reporting agency to, hopefully, get straight to the *real* source.
