Thanks for that FCC link--I did file a complaint.  Send in the red tape brigade!

I asked the caller (someone from ClearView) to take me off their list.  I asked this very politely, I might add.  The person, who was a man (maybe he said his name was Tommy?) was extremely rude.  He started by asking if I wanted the chance to save on something-or-other and that's when I asked to be taken off their list.  He said, "You didn't answer my question."  I laughed and said, "You didn't answer my comment."  He snarled and made an under-his-breath comment, and I hung up on him.  No thank you!!!

I can only guess it is to determine if anyone is home to answer so they don't waste their time on answering machines.
I called  (714) 729-0680 as per DW above and told "Jan" that I wanted to have my name taken off their call list.
We will see if they stop calling.

My house phone # is on donotcall list, but I got 714-453-8713 just few minutes ago. I got this number call every other day almost. When I picked up, no one answered. Then I heard some sort of maniacal laughter (creepy!), and the caller hung up. I really not happy it's happen so often, how do I stop this 714-453-8713 to call us????

Since we use Vonage, and turned the ringer off on our home phone. Our number is basically just a dictation service.  Good to know we are missing these calls. Thanks for the great information.

I get calls from this business everyday, usually multiple times a day, and sometimes they'll call then immediately call back again a minute later. I'm so sick of it and would NEVER do business with them ever.

Annoying telemarketer scammer ignores National Do Not Call List

they call my work # everyday and do not leave a message.

Thanks, everyone, for the thorough information.  So glad I have caller ID:  I've learned never to pick up on "Unknown" or "Out of Area" calls even when a legit phone number is displayed.   BTW, I have gypsies calling people in my neighborhood, offering to do odd jobs such as patching roofs and painting, pleading that they need the money.

Home address and phone number...it's ok to call them and let them know how much you enjoy their illegal phone calls to you.

Or, call wife Mary K Kovalcin who is a listed officer with Clearview Home Improvements, and who works for Kaiser Permanente in Orange County ("Senior Operations Manager").  Maybe she would enjoy some of these phone calls.  Maybe her HR department would be interested in knowing that she is an owner of an illegally operated company.  Maybe...she can be assigned to Kaiser's switchboard....

Clearview Home Improvements has now DOUBLED the number of complaints filed with the BBB in the past year. They went from 11 complaints to 22 complaints.  You would have to be a total nimrod to do business with a company like this.

I received a call at 9:33a.m. The young male caller asked for me by name. I athen asked where he got our number, and he responded sarcastically "From the numbers plant. It's a planet where all numbers come from"...blahh blahh blah. My 85 year old father has to put up with calls like this every day. It is rude and borders on harassment. Why aren't these people held responsible and forced to be transparent?  They claimed to be associated with southern Ca. Gas Co. and asked about home repair.

I got a call from them two weeks ago. The agent knew my name and wanted to confirm that she was talking to me. I wouldn't give her my name and asked her for her name. Of course she would not disclose any information. She then called me a B**** and hung up. I called my phone company to report the call and put them on the no call list. Today, two weeks later they called using a different id phone number. I called the number given below 714 729 0680. When I asked the agent to speak to her supervisor, of course he was in a meeting. I let her know that I have all of their information and that I am in the process of placing a formal complaint. She said that she is the person that takes numbers off of the automatic call list and would take my number off. Let's see what happens.

I reported Clear View Home Improvements, Inc, also know as Clearview to the FCC. Also, I call Haines Directory and  800 843 8452 and spoke to Patty. I gave her all to the information that has been researched by so many of you. She was grateful and said that she will move forward to take care of this problem. Thanks to all of you for your research and time.

Recived a call from Clearview", saying they were calling for "Your Utility service", when I asked who WAS my utility Company, they couild not answer. When I asked their name and address, they hung up. When I called the number on the caller ID it was a fake.
I researched the Company and got a man named Jason Daugherty who told me he was the manager. I asked him why they used used a spoof number he told me cecasue the moved. He gave me three locations, Ahaheim, Yorba Linda, and Placentia.

I have also been receiving harassing calls from Clearview Energy.  I have told the telemarketers twice that I am on a "Do Not Call" list and they continued to call.  Thanks to this website, I just called (714) 729-0680, pressed "0" and spoke to Monique, who assured me that we will not be called again.  Thanks for having this website!
