I had a voicemail on my phone this morning that was left around 7pm last night.  "Clarrissa from Pacific Monarch Gift Center" was calling to tell me that my husband and I had been selected as a finalist for a $100,000 cash prize or a new car.  She said that I had filled out a sweepstakes form at Laguna Hills Mall, and to call her back at 866 448 3427 ex 111 between 1pm and 9pm.  She mentioned both my and my husband's full name.  I have never been to the Laguna Hills Mall.  I did however, unfortuately fill out a sweepstakes form at Edwards theator in Aliso Viejo.  I have learned my lesson.

I entered to win a Mercedes crossover at my local mall.  This was a call to tell me I might have won - or at least I am entered in the drawing, might win one of 5 other gifts, presentation takes 60-90 min blah blah blah......

We entered for a drawing to win a car at a mall a couple of months ago.  Monarch Resorts called my home and cellphone today....left a message telling me I'm a finalist.  No thanks!  I hate false advertising...don't you?

I HAVE REPORTED THIS NUMBER TO THE FCC  COMPLAINTS.  THE MORE FILED....THIS NUMBER WILL BE SHUT DOWN!

Its Pacific Monarch. It's one of those hard push time share companies that try and "award" you a prize if you attend their presentation. Google the company and you'll see that there are many rip off reports and BBB complaints.

This is one of those timeshare promotional things.  If you signed up for a drawing for a car at the mall then that is why they are calling.  They are wanting you to come in and listen to one of their time share presentations.  They tell you that you can win $100,000.00, a car of your choice or other things.  They also promise you vacations and trips if you will go listen to them.  They have been after me for several months to go to one of their things.

I received the call today and I actually got a little excited about the thought that I had won something. YEAH RIGHT!!! I’m glad I googled the phone number “Kristine” called me from! She even made an appointment for me because she “wanted to make sure I received my price”. What a waste of time!!!!

Don't fall for anything that comes from this company!  They trick you by telling you that you win a prize, have you come down to a meeting location where you sit through a presentation.  Once the presentation is done, they have a 1 on 1 with you and try to get you to buy time shares.  When you say no, they try to shame you into buying anything they offer.  When you tell them no several times, you are forced to tell them NO in a harsh way.  Funny thing is just to make them feel like a bunch of idiots, I completed the evening by playing the $100,000 drawing/Scam and leaving with a free vacation day to a theme park of my choice.  Wasn't worth sitting through a 90 minute presentation.  Its a scam all the way!

I received daily calls from this number.  Today I picked up and some guy says I won $100K and wanted to verfiy my information.  When I asked which company they're calling from, he hesitated and said... "Uh, let me check, uh from Burbank (something or another)".  He sounded sketchy so I said I'll pass, and he responded with "Are you sure? I guess I'll just give away you $100K..." What an idiot.  I wasn't born yesterday...

Christine called me, too. Said she represented our timeshare company. They want to give us a free dinner or brunch and the opportunity to talk with a vacation counselor about booking our time and any problems we might have. I told her I had to call my husband to see if we would attend. She gave me this number to call back. However, when I did call back (to accept, although I know better now!), there is a constant busy, no incoming calls apparently. Glad I decided to search for the number online. We won't go and we won't be bothered with this nonsense.
