Caller ID read ORANGE CA - Robocall; bot started it's script without me even speaking: Grace from State records division, funeral offset for local county in CA. "File pending closure. Did I see the final warning that was mailed out? Has anyone from the verification office reached out to you?" Call disconnected when I didn't respond. This is a common imposter scam designed to panic you into revealing personal information or paying fake fees. Government agencies, local county offices, or state records divisions do not use automated robocalls to issue "final warnings" or demand payment for "funeral offsets" over the phone. Do not engage or give personal information.

Hmm....interesting....Call back to the number gets, "Thanks for calling Homes dot com.  Press 1 to be connected to an agent."  So either, homes dot com is using the same number as your caller or you are seriously mistaken about your caller.

I do not think that "ST" (who also posts as "Steph" and "Stephanie") is mistaken about the call she received.  Most likely the number was spoofed.  If you have been paying attention, "ST" (et. al.) has made quite a few posts for numbers in the 714 area code.  Most likely she receives a lot of calls that are "Neighbor Spoofed".
