Got a robot call today saying it was irs going to file a lawsuit against me...feel really bad for the old people that fall for this

threatening phone call from the irs... caller and manager with thick indian accents... demanding i go to my bank and call back from the parking lot, and they even suggested the nearest one! they knew my address!!  why doesn't our government do something about these scams??  they're involved in everything and can't or won't do basic governmental services.

Just got a call from these guys saying the irs was suing me. Called back got a Indian guy named Mohammed, when I asked where he was calling from he said Pakistan haha. Total scam

i got a message from them just a few minutes ago saying they're from the IRS and i'm being sued! what a scam
we should file a complaint with the phone company

I just got this call and it was a recorded message (female) saying that this was the final try and I was being sued by the IRS and to call this number.  I called, no answer.  Decided to search and I found you all.  Glad I did.

Had the same recorded message today as Laurie and the rest who posted before me...final try to contact me and IRS is suing....feel sorry for people who fall for this.

My 81 year old mother received a call today from a female caller at this number (716-218-3432) claiming to be from IRS stating that my mother needed to call back because she is being sued.  My mother was panicked and visibly shaken. Thankflully, she called me immediately and I researched the number and found this sight.  TERRIBLE!  Praying on elderly people.  SCAMMERS should be ARRESTED and PROSECUTED to the highest degree of the law!!!

I got a call from this number saying there was a lawsuit against me filed by the IRS.

Received call today --- claiming to be an agent from the IRS.    IRS would never call a home number --- they only contact taxpayers via mail.     THis is a scam.

I received this message 2 times saying the same thing. I was being sued by the IRS, but it just sounded fraudulent so I start googling and found this. What I haven't read is that anyone contacted the real IRS. I'm Going to call the real IRS and report this and I think everyone should do the same.

Same deal, got a vm with robo-voice that claimed to be IRS suing. Callback number goes to some house outside Buffalo, NY. Seeing as no one ever picks up, it's probably just a spoof number.
