I have no idea why they are calling me.

they do that they say oh i need ur social security number and my birthday!

This is an absolute joke. I called back with the reference number they had left on my VM and then they wanted me to give my social security number and birth date and confirm my last name and spelling... it’s absolute BS because I recently got married and haven’t officially changed my name yet but gave them my married name and they tried to say that that matched their records but I needed to fully confirm my info by giving more personal information! Hahah nope! What’s the point of leaving a reference number if you then have to give all other sorts of personal information BEFORE they will even tell you what this is in regards to?! I had a debt collector call me in the past due to gym membership issues and they don’t care who they speak to as long as someone pays the debt so this is crap!
