Received call from  this number 7-2-13.  Said personal !  Was a snippy guy. We will not
return call.

I could not understand what the woman was saying, horribly slurred speech. She was asking me personal questions (birthdate, ss#), would not clarify WHO (said the NAME - think it was Collee Bergman??) she was representing or WHY she was calling. I simply hung up on her, clearly some scam.

I was just contacted tonight. I have never heard of them and do not know how they got this number. I have changed my number. I am not calling them back because for one I do not owe any debt. sounds like a scam to me. I am turning them in if they call me again.  number came up 201-292-8358

I was contacted by Maurice Jackson at Cawley and Bergman. He called my 3 times in a row and then proceeded to call my boss twice (all in like a 2 minute span). He was very aggressive (no big surprise) and I told him I would call him back in 20 minutes because I was not comfortable discussing in front of my boss. I did call him back and he insisted that I tell them how much I could pay. I told him nothing. He agreed to send me a letter with all the info but they never sent it.
First he tried to build rapport and find common ground. Like I am that dumb. Once he could see he was getting no where he got really aggressive again and shouted at me. Then he put his boss on the phone and he gave me the same "We just want to help you" BS. They asked me for a post dated check to show good faith, but there was no way I was giving them anything tied to my bank account. They kept pushing me to agree to a number that I could pay, but I refused because in CA after 4 years they can no longer sue you. The 4 year period starts over again if you agree to or send a payment.

Asked for someone named Ganell or Janell. They hung up when I told them they had wrong number.
