received a call requesting Money from Hospital
Yhey did not even know of husband’s Desth

They said that they are called from the Department of Health

They called saying their were from NY Health and Hospital Billing Department, regarding my unpaid bills, I told them that's impossible I pay my hospital monthly, ask how much is the amount I owe, their response we can disclose any information regarding your bills, by then I knew it was spam so I asked them to resubmit all my bills and he hanged up the call.

A recorded voice in my voicemail:

"TRANSCRIPT
Hello we're calling from New York City Health and Hospital Corporation to discuss a recent health care business matter this is not a telephone solicitation please press one to be connected to the next available account representative Alternatively you can reach us 24 hours a day 7 days a week (...)."

They left me the following voicemail:

“Hello we are calling on behalf of the New York City health and hospital corporation to discuss a recent healthcare business matter this is not a telephone solicitation please return our call at 718-799-5022 between the hours of 8 AM to 8 PM Monday through Thursday and Friday 8 AM to 5 PM Eastern time to speak with one of our representatives thank you and have a wonderful day…”

I don’t have medical debt and this number isn’t associated with any of my healthcare providers so I think it’s a scam.

I do not have any medical bill from Elmhurst Hospital. It is spam they first ask for your personal information but do not want to tell you anything about the bill.

I don't have any medical bills due in new york city, just recently moved back from new jersey
so not returning any calls, seems to be scam
