Been receiving calls from this number since Monday. 2x Monday, 4x Tuesday, & 2x today (so far). I haven't answered until today, and when I did a lady spoke Mastercard. She said something about me being interested in making extra money from home. I told her no, and she said, "Before you say no..." Then I cut her off and said "No thank, I'm not interested." Next think I know, the phone hung up. That was a 40 second converstation.  

Hopefully they won't call me again. I also made a report with the DO NOT CALL # on Monday.

I got about 4 calls from that number this week. No answer...again. On the 4th call, the number showed up while my cell phone's ringing. Just before I picked up the phone to answer, the ringing stopped. I don't know who these people are.

Received call from this number every day around 5pm. It is a land base phone in NY.

if your number is on the do-not call list, then you can file a complaint.  I have since I am receiving numerous calls for the last few days.  Also, I am tallying the fines they are accumulating by calling my do-not call number - $500 every time they do.  So far it's up to $5000 in three days!

I've received 18 calls in the last 2 days! Absolutely ridiculous!  

I called the number back and suffered through the torture of hearing the foolishness.  When they put me through to a person I got the following info from Marcel (f'n idiot who hung up on me!!): The company name is :Direct Merchants.  

I figure the more info we can get the better!  This is such a dirty way of getting people's attention.

someone had been calling my work place, (which I had been retired from 3 years now from there)according to my ex co workers about 2 times or more an day...    I just wish this number 718-924-2796 STOP CALLING and how did they got my work place number in the first place....according to my ex co-workers when they ask if they WOULD  leave an msg.. the people on the other end hang up........   THIS AN STATE AGENCY.   SO PLEASE DO NOT, I REPEAT DO NOT CALL THIS NUMBER NO MORE....   THANK YOU......

I am getting this call constantly on my cell phone - no less - I am getting really mad about this...

I have gotten numerous calls from this number 718-924-2796 for the last week.   Calls every hour and it is very annoying.  Glad I did some research and never answered.

After receiving calls from this number multiple times per day for over a week, I decided to answer their call today. The man introduced himself as David and asked me,by my name, if I was still interested in earning extra income with their merchant account. Of course I told them no and they were polite and even told me to have a nice day. I do a a lot of marketing and publisher programs,so the call was not unusual. However, I knew I hadn't heard of this particular merchant program, so scam was avoided. I worry for those who fall for this call. Money,personal information and more could be lost to this type of calling. It's not the rude schemes that get to people, it's the polite ones.

They somehow just got my #.  I'm over it.  They have only callled 2x's so far, but reading the other posts, sound like they are a pain in the butt!

Im 17. This number started calling me on my cell a few days ago. Starting March 2nd- 4th they called me literally 30x. I answered the 1st time they called. The man asked for me, I dont know how he knew my name. I said he had the wrong number and he replied saying sorry and he would take me off the calling list, but apparently not. After the 5x calling and me not answering i blocked the number. My bf called them back today to try to get them to stop calling. And he told me that they automated voice person said it had somthing to do with income taxes. I found that to be weird because i didnt file taxes... i never did. Never even had a job. SPEAK OF THE DEVIL THEY JUST CALLED. These people are relentless

I have received 20 calls from this number in the last 3 days.
When answered, only noise in the background heard.
Can someone help get rid of this?

Called 1st time---no one there. Called 2nd time---asked, "did you apply online for a job?"  No and hung up.  Now why wouldn't they contact me by e-mail if I applied online for a job???

getting calls every half hour. answered it  the last time. Don't believe its telemarketing. Person on the other end dropped the F bomb on me and then hung up. I use Comcast and set up to block the #

I have had this number call me 5-6 times a day. When I answered it hung up. I called the number back and was given two options to listen to a "great business opportunity" or press 2 to exit. So I listened to the presentation and was finally put through to a account manager who knew my first name and proceeded to ask what I thought of the great opportunity.I immediately told those Ponzi [***] heads to [***] off, stop calling my number and take me off their list . They didn't like that very much. I encourage you to waste 6 minutes of you like and listen to their BS message and then tell the account manager what you really think!

My son 16 and they keep calling for him. Every time I ask who they are they hang up.
