Seems to be a marketing call. My home phone and cell phone is listed on do-not call list, not that it matters to this type of marketing!

I took a call from this number this afternoon, first time I have been able to answer when they called. I am retired from selling insurance. The person I spoke to was very polite, I asked them about the nature of their call and the rep explained that they do marketing/recruiting for all sorts for insurance carriers and companies.

If you are on the Do Not Call registry and they are calling you as has been described here it is called cold calling and is NOT, I repeat NOT, exempt from the rules regarding that registry no matter what the hell they tell you they have your number listed as. Calling and hanging up in any way shape or form is "cold calling" and I'm as annoyed about it as the rest of you.
I'm actually more concerned than usual because I can't tell if its another stalker or if its some idiots who are illegally calling me... again. This is a security issue. I give any and all of you full permission to use this post should you manage to get this into court!!!!!

They are called FINANCIAL MEDIA GROUP and all they do ois call & hung up, I get several calls from them a week, they always hung up. I have reported them several times to the do not call site and file a complaint each time, I also called all those names of their management team and gave them a taste of their medecine, lets all do the same.

Yes, they are called Financial Media Group.  They are an insurance company out of the Denver Metro area trying to recruit agents.  They get your number from state records.  So, if they're calling you at home or on a cell, it's because you registered your personal number somewhere along the line when with the state or another insurance company.  They are exempt from Do Not Call Lists because they are doing what is considered Business to Business calling.  Go to their website listed below to be removed from their list.

That's because her objective was to validate your number.  They now know their info is correct... and they can sell your info to somebody else.

Got a call today from a Leigh at HTC Financial at 720-225-9970. This is a SPAM and do not give them ANY info. If it wasn't SPAM you would be calling them to discuss matter.

I got the same call and hang up and got the number from dialing *69 because I don't have caller ID. I put my name on their Do Not Call List and am also listed on the National Do-Not-Call Registry. My elderly neighbors get upset about these calls and do not have a computer to access their website. It is difficult for them to hear
