I actually answered the call and it was from Cox Communications to do a review on my account.  He sounded drunk so I hung up.

Called my cellphone and left message. If it's Comcast, I don't know why they would be calling me, as I have NO Comcast services, nor am I in the market for any.

Left message said my first name and asked could they take a break they had to go to the bathroom.  Called it back said it was Comcast.  Funny thing my Comcast is in my husbands name and my vm does not say my name.  So how did they obtain my first name?

Call from "spectum" but they could not verify my account with the phone number that I have connected to my account (I only have one phone number) so I believe this a scam of some sort.

It's a company called InfoCision (www.infocision.com) calling on *behalf* of Comcast. Keyword is behalf. That means Comcast hired a third party, gave them your personal information, and is trying to upsell you. InfoCision is a typical call center who gets client lists from other companies and calls with special promo offers hoping to make a commission. Just hang up and call Comcast yourself if you want to see what offers they have to offer. Dont do busioness with these telemarketing companies. These companies are managed my scumbags and the company's shouldnt even exist. And they WONT exist if they stop making sales. So don't do business with them and you're one step closer to ending the idea of "telemarketing" all together. In a perfect world I suppose.

I worked for a company like this 10 years ago when I was a teenager. Same business model except for car dealerships to get you to bring your car in for an oil change and "maintenance" package. It was soul crushing and I would like to see these companies disappear.

No message, just an annoying phone call every few days. I swear since I put myself on the do not call list I get 100x more UFO (that's what I call unknown callers) callers than I used to. It drives me crazy. Blocking them.

I answered the call and some girl just said "7 days" and then hung up. That was about 6 days ago, and now my TV has been acting up, flashing strange images of a well and bugs crawling around. Strange stuff
