Stop calling!

Have received calls from this FL number for several years, listed in name of Tu V Jhou, 22621 paige Dr, port richie FL.  original calls little English speaking, looking for someone unknown.  Now says police fund raising org.   Wanted to mail to give my address and they mail me stickers for a 10 or $ 20.00 donation.  Not likely a valid org.  Don't give any info.  I donate locally.....

Have been getting calls for quite awhile from this number.  Assumed they are selling something, so never answer.  ID box says "POL PROT FUND.  They apparantly never give up.  What concerns me now is they have somehow located my CELL PHONE number.  Only husband and children know this number. Today I hurryedly answered to hear "Ann" leaving a message from them using the word "survey".  I quickly hung up.  However, the call came from 971-220-1183, not 727-863-5033, so they are clearly switching things around. I intend to report this to the authorities, to prevent these people from scamming more trusting people.

They called me asking a donation, I did it. They called me back saying there is money on your account.

These people keep calling me then they are rude by hanging up on me but this is no doubt a scam....these people are horrible.  It happens every year.

Police protection fund scam is still around. As they are still giving 10-15% away they are not subject to DNC list. My suggestion DNG (DO NOT GIVE) !

I also had a call from these people. The caller ID says Police Protect 727-863 5033. No messages at all.

I get a call from them at least once a day. I never answer it and they never leave a message on the machine. If they are sending money to fallen police officers in my area they are lying...we have not lost a police officer in the entire area in years. Mostly rural, small towns and very little crime here except for the scammers who keep calling looking for money.

Received a call at 8 pm est. No msg left. Caller id stated Police Protect Fund. Tried calling back, and was hung up on after identifying myself.

I just recieved a call from this number and did not answer as I was on another call.  However, I did call the number back and received a voicemail.  Within the vmail message the gentleman stated it was for the Police Protection an gave a brief description.  I then left a message that stated I am a cop's wife (which is true) and to please take me off of their call list as we give locally to any of our fallen officers.  Generally, a fund is set up through our local police departments at a bank for the family.   DO NOT GIVE any information or any donations to these people.  Needless to say, my husband will be investigating this.  Bet they didn't realize they were calling a cops house asking for money!

This person called asking for donations,for the police.They wanted to know if I could send a check or Credit card.After I hung up another person called pretending to be from the same police facility.

They have been calling at least once everyday for the last 2 weeks. I just let it go to the answering machine. They have never left a message. They are really getting to be a pain in the a@@.

Called several times, but I never answered, thanks to caller ID.  Someone told me they told the person to wait for him to go get his credit card.  After 30 minutes, he returned and the guy had hung up.  Might try that next time.  Still, some are so persistent that they might surprise me!

This type call is a Scam, Do not answer, that is if you have Caller ID or an answering machine. When I get one like this I check to see if the caller is from Tennessee and if it is I report them to the Tennessee Highway Patrol Fraud Department.

Hung up when I asked who was calling.  Obviously ID Thieft.

Called yesterday asking for a one time only donation to my county police fund (in VA) and that they'd send someone right over to pick up the donation.  Odd.  I told them my policy was to never respond to telephone solicitations and I hung up. Caller ID said Police Protect.

I have been trying for years to stop these calls, repeated requests to remove my name has gone for nothing.  They use numbers from other organizations and hang up when you ask for a copy of their dnc lists.

I am on the DO NOT CALL list why are these people calling. Comes up as Police Protection, didn't answer and they didn't leave a message.

This number calls frequently and I have pushed the number they say push to get them to take me off their calling list.  Even though I followed the instructions they continue to call.  They say allow 30 days, but it has continued for at least 90 days - two more calls today.  How can I stop them?
