I just got a call from that number and no message, i live  in seattle and dont know any one east of colo. no message

I have a possible good solution to these types of problems. We should get on the phone with these people and basically just give them the run-arounds. Pretend we'll give them our credit card numbers and give them a bogus number...or just keep them on the phone for as long as possible while not giving them any real information. This should become very frustrating to these operators...and may be financially costly too, since presumably they have to hire some workers to make these phone calls. In addition, the time that one person spends tying up the scam artist, just means the scammer has less time to make additional scam calls. I REALLY think this could put a dent on these operations. Of course, it does require you have some patience and time to stay on the phone with these people. I've done this at times when i have nothing better to do; I stayed on the phone with the telemarketers for 30 minutes, asking many questions...etc. and in the last minute just refuse to give them a credit card number. "...but, we need your credit card to deliver this..." "No, I changed my mind"  It's actually kind of fun to sense how pissed they get once they realized they had wasted 30 minutes of their time and produced nothing.

I did not answer because I'm from San Diego and I don't recognize the number. I have a friend in Knoxville but this is not their number.

I got this call at 6:01pm today and I am in San Diego CA.

Voice message says "presa el uno para receiver tu dinero" sounds like she says "presa" which is slang or she might be saying "presiona" or something similar really fast. message translates to "Press the receiver one for your money" and is interpreted "Press one to receive your money" obviously. Thinking about it, this automated message left a voice message that does not make sense so it makes sense that it had more to say in the beginning and only recorded the end of the conversation and hung up.

*** I posted this message on a different site but I thought it would help since this one has more attention on this matter. Also, don't get mad. Its just an automated voice so it does not care. Think of it as a virus, they don't always destroy your system but they bug the crap out of you. ***

just got a call at 8 20pm and a spanish telemarketing pre-recorded voice came on.  i called back twice and only recieve a busy dial tone.  what the hell is this number???

File a complaint on the do not call registry website.  This will help get them fined out of business.  It is a huge fine for every violation.  I already filed my complaint.  They are trying to get your credit card number.....SCAM
