received call at 9:42AM Sunday 3-16-09. wife answered caller asked for me by name wife said sounded drunk. when I answered no one on line.

We get about 4-8 calls from this number every day (no exaggeration).  A couple of times we stayed on the line to request to be removed from the calling list, but no one ever came on the line; eventually the phone just hung up on its own.

In spite of the fact I am on the Do Not Call list and have told CDG to stop calling, they continue to call me 2-3 times per day trying to solicit funds for various charitable organizations. Today I activated "Call Trace" with Verizon and filed a complaint with my local PD and with the FTC.  This will allow the police to trace the call and exact caller, file a complaint for harrasing phone calls under Calif. law with the DA, and next step drag them into small claims court for lost revenue.  Everytime they call, they wake me up and and can't get back to sleep.  Fatigue sets in and my job is safety critical.  I can't work without adequate rest, so I lose a days pay. CDG will be compensating me for losses when I get thru with them.

They just called me and my wife today at 7:33 pm and I screen all my calls before I answer them no message no answer. I was looking this company up and found this site of many complaining about them. Glad I'm not the only one.

I work for CDG and have for about 3 1/2 yrs now when you pick up the phone and no one answers it is due to a delay on the company's dialer so if you would give it a chance they will answer you and almost every person I have worked with has been very professional and polite on every phone call but if by some chance they are not they are most times terminated immediately the company does call for many non profit organizations for police and fire charities which these organizations do not count on the national do not call list but CDG does have it's own do not call list and once you ask to "Put me on the do not call list" then they are required to do so and but it could take up to 72 hrs to fully remove your name from the list the people that do this job is just like anyone else they are trying to make a dollar to pay their bills and feed their family at least you are not paying for them to receive a damn check or a food card to feed their 10 kids they are hard working men and women who are just trying to survive in todays economy but anyhow if you do not want us to call anymore then wait until an employee gets on the phone and ask to be taken  off of their lists

Called at 7:30pm, did not pick it up as I didn't recognize the number.

To Reddog: If you work for CDG I suggest you tell your boss that when someone requests to have their number put on the CDG DO-NOT-CALL list or take it out of your data base and they keep calling everyday for over a 3 months, you should stop the calls. Your company employees may be trying to make a living. Well so am I, and everytime you call and wake me up I can't go into work and make my living because I sleep during the day and work all night. I've hired an attorney and am sueing CDG for nuissance calls, damages and lost revenue. It's very stressfull when one keeps calling you everyday and waking you up after you've already requested not to call back. By the way...give me your home phone number so that I can call you 2-3 times every night between 9 P.M. and 6 A.M. while you're trying to sleep.

Well I received a call twice from this number, but never picked up...they never left a message either

I read the FTC charges against CDG on www.civicdevelopment.net, it's primarily in misrepresentation which they are in violation for (misrepresenting who they work for, how much money goes to the charities, and what that money will be used for)

you CAN donate money if you want, but be warned little of it will go to the supposedly charities that they claim to work for.

if you want, next time they call pick up and question their intent.  Don't ask them to put your number on the national 'do not call' list, that won't achieve anything...instead, specifically request for them to remove your number from THEIR list, and warn that if they don't then you'll file a complaint against them.

Of course if they still call you, then file a complaint against them, maybe they enjoy having the FTC come around and ring up another 7 charges against their phony fundraising [***]

some guy just called from 732-512-9800 with a speech soliciting a donation to a fund for the families of fallen police officers and also said that I would receive a decal for my car in appreciation of my support. I have no idea how they got my number, but the guy only asked for $12 donation. I explained I didn't have any way to help out and in fact since I'm not working, I actually need help myself. He was pushy. I finally just said, look, I actually have ZERO dollars and I owe money to my bank. I can't help you. (I figured it was a scam, but I think this way he'll remove me from their call list.)
I use Comcast bundled services, could someone at Comcast have sold phone numbers from Comcast phone service to CDG MGMT?
The call came in at 5:15 Pactific Time.
The guy sounded like he was congested, overweight, or perhaps he was just reclining while on the phone.

972-250-4104 here is a # that goes to this company cdg call and harass them like they do you and me.ext 1 is the boss.

Listen up folks, the DNC list does not apply to police and firefighter organizations. These are not the calls the the DNC list intended to block therefore they will not block them. LOL. have fun and enjoy your calls

I'm in the East cost. CDG MGMT calls me at lest 3 times a day. They always introduce themselves as patrol officer from Florida Patrol Highways. I used to send a contribution of $30 believing that the contribution was really to help families of officer that died in duty. It was very frustanting to learn that it was  a SCAM and charities know that too. So my suggestion as payback is: Every time they call you, pickup I say yes, send me the form for the contribution. In the returning envelope instead of a check, write about your frustation and send it back. It's going to cost you only the value of a stamp, but for the charity will cost a couple dollars for each form they send out. I bet charities will start changing their business practices.. By the way I have already starting doing it myself and if enough people do the same we can win over these crooks...

a woman claimed to be working for a california police charity and asked for a donation. She was persistent and finally i agreed to a $10 donation. was immediately put to a guy who began asking for a credit card no. I hung up. These guys prey on your sense of sympathy or try and intimidate you by referencing the police.

On do not call registry AND pay for blockage of unidentified callers, but these sobs got through anyway.  When no one answered, they didn't leave a message.

They called, and hung up.  when I called the number back, got a phone tree. Looked them up on the web, lots of complaints.  They should be taken out back and shot.

My parents get calls from this number as well. They come up on ID as CDG MGMNT. It's from Edison, NJ. However they I'd themselves as WV state police.

The national do not call list doesn't neccessarily include nonprofit organizations. However, they have a call list also and you can
Request to be removed. It's stupid for them to ask for funding over the phone in this manner. Especially in this day an age of ID fraud.

I received a call from 918-686-5328 and they didn't leave a message and you cannot get a answer from a live person, but a recording.  I am on the do not call registery as well, but that doesn't stop charity organizations from being able to call you as they are exempt.  I do plan on notifying them to refrain from calling me in the future unless they want to contribute to my charity.....ME.

TO MARC: u must have been fired from cdg because u couldnt do the job? if u sleep during the day why would you want to call someone else all day?

This no keep calling even I don't answer, the last time I answer asking for donations I told them I don't have job and can not afford right now.
But still insist for donation, doesn't care for what your status of life.
Or you are struggling for your everyday life is that the kind of people
you need to help, as far I know help will be voluntarily and not forcibly.
