Answering their call or don't answer their call....they still call.  No matter if you politely ask them to remove your info and don't call again; tell them you are reporting them for violating the Federal Law; get irrate with with about continuing to call; They are going to keep calling every opportunity they have.  They are dishonest and scamming businesses across this country.  Your best bet to protect your business is to DONT answer the phone!  Let it ring.  They record what you say and splice your words into their recording and then is when they have you and your money!  They work it so that your words are responding in the positive to questions they ask.  Such as Did you understand the fees involved with this service per month, etc. etc.  
When you get a call and the caller ID indicates "out of area" with no phone number or with an 800 phone number or out of state area code;  Don't answer the phone.  If the caller ID lists a name you are not familiar with and the phone number is an 800 series number, don't answer it unless you know the name on the caller ID.  more than 99% of the time it is a scamming telemarketer.  The biggest ones out there are the yellow pages online wanting to update your listing information.  Website designers, cheap toner and ink cartridge sales, third party health insurance and life insurance sellers.  The list goes on.  I even get calls from power company's that are over 2,000 miles away from me wanting me to switch to their services for cheaper rates. I love telling them that my company does not pay for any power on this site.  After a lengthy pause they ask me how that is possible.  Simple, I pay no rent and I pay no utilities for my company to be located where it is located.  They still call again and If I feel like playing with them I answer the phone otherwise they get the answering machine and they hang up.  
Your best bet for peace of mind is not to talk to these dirtbags.  They will let up for about 3 or 4 months before they start their 2 or 3 month barrage of calls again.  (new blood on their forces).  Yellow pages online has been calling me for about 5 years now.  I have checked with my local phone company and they inform me not to have any dealings with this group because they have been scamming small businesses across the country out of huge dollar amounts.  The legal phone company's know about them and they can't even get the feds to put an end to them.  So if someone calls you and tells you they are representing your phone company and need to update your lilsting information DON'T TALK to them.  Your local phone company will not farm out their work.  They also do not call their customers asking for updates to their listings.  Never have and never will.  Think about it, why would they, they have your name, address and account information readily available to them on their own computers. They put that information there and they make any necessary changes when you request them.  So why do they need to hire someone to update that information for them?  Use common sense when dealig with anyone over the phone and protect yourself.

We just got Panasonic KX-TGA401 phones.  They're great!  You can permanently block unwanted numbers that call you.  Not even the phone company will do that for you.

Also - if you are on the DNC Registry - register a complaint.  The more who do it, the better.

I have a Canadian number and they are still calling me, can someone please let me know how I get them to stop.

I just called them back gave them my Toronto number and they assured me they would put me on the do not call list.  We will see what happens.  If you dial their number and press 0 a nice man will answer and take all of your information.

I have received a total of 4 calls from this number so far.  The first three, no one ever answered.  The last one, I hung on for a few seconds and a man came on and said he had seen my Web site on the internet and asked if I was having success with it.  It was for a notary business I had.  I told him that I had it for 4 years now.  He asked if I had much success with it and I told him that it didn't really matter because as of midnight on July 17, 2010, the business not longer existed anyway.  I thanked him for his interest (which I did not mean) and hung up on him.  Why would I want to pay someone probably hundreds of dollars to design a web site when you can do it yourself in just a few minutes?

I just started getting these calls as well  today and decided to see who all is getting these same calls. I am an attorney  and plan to stop them from my end by finding out about them and submitting them to the FBI.  They are violating federal law. Did you happen to get the name of their web design company? It may be an issue of having the FBI take a look into this just in case they are a trying to commit some type of international fraud or other crime.  

If you do accept their call, try to find out as much information about them as possible, see if they give you their name, ID #  and try to get the name of their comapny. Ask them for their website address.

IF they give this to you, submit this to you local FBI office and make a complaint.

This could be one of those scams where they try to get your personal information, maybe loop you into giving htem your credit card number, socical security number and or other informarion that could be an identity theft.  

Observe and report.

I just got a call from this number today and it got disconnected.  So they called back and left a message the guy's name was Brandon with this callback number 6096069990 ext 1681. I'm glad I went right on to google and typed in this number.Thanks to all the reviews

I add unwanted numbers to my contacts under "X" and assign either mute or a particular ring that is only for calls I don't want.

Something about websites. Was a real human, but his foreign accent was so disastrous that I couldn't figure out what he was saying.

Can't speak English well at all.

Told him that I would like to work in website design.

I am on the do not call list and continue to get calls from this number. I have asked multiple times for them to remove me from their list, and I still receive the calls.

My guess is they are scraping the WHOIS records database from people who register domain names and don't purchase the privacy option to hide their personally identifiable info.
Then they telemarket to all domain owners to attempt to sell them website services.

Just got a call from them on my google voice number, which I started using recently for my small business so I can screen for unwanted solicitors like this. Glad I did. Now that I know these are telemarketers, I've blocked them. No more calls!

They called today trying to solicit outsourcing for web development work. However, the accent was so thick, and the microphone on their end of the call in such horrible shape that it was very difficult to determine what the call was even about.

However, the uneducated caller did insist that calling to solicit business was not in any way telephone marketing, and that what he was doing was completely different from telephone marketing.

I do not wish to receive calls from people or companies that won't identify themselves through caller ID.  These guys keep calling and need to remove my number from their call list.

No answer, i didn't wait for the delay.

Also own a web development company and get the same calls from this number.  I get a lot of Indian web development companies calling to offer services (doesn't seem to occur to them that as a web development company, I am their competition), so I usually don't pick up random numbers I'm not familiar with.  This number I got a call from three times in 5 minutes, so I picked up the third time and there was no answer on the other end, so I hung up, but obviously this is a telemarketer.
