got a call a minute ago- we joined vonage last week, but no message

Just got a call on my cell after setting up Vonage last night. Not a single word but hang up from the other side.

Some [***] called me saying thanks for signing up with vonage. I've never used Vonage, and never signed up for it ever. They called my work number.

Calls several times a day. I never had a vonage phone...i dont answer, doesn't leave a voice msg either. Annoying!!

I have Vonage as my carrier, and have called them about my home service from my office. It looks like they capture the Caller ID from my office, then use that number to call back for marketing to sell more Vonage. Shame on them!

I received a call from this number and when I answered, it disconnected. So I google searched and came to this website and everyone seemed to say it was Vonage (which I have). So, I called them and had them pull up my account and asked why they needed to call me? The woman said that this particular number comes from their marketing department. In my case, the line was dropped on their end when I answered and they were calling to see if I wanted to add another line. I complained a bit about this because I do not like sales calls and she said they randomly call current customers and non-customers to increase their business but that I could be removed from their marketing department's call list and I wouldn't be bothered again. Thanks to everyone who posted before me, so I knew whom to call. :)

i recieved a call from 7329072113,and it said New Jersey,as i answered there was no reply,i did a return and all i got was a rapid busy signal,what the world is going on?this is not the only call i've recieved,but it is the only one that have me concerned after several calls.

i am with vonage and i call because technical issues, people on the line cant hear me, i cant hear them....dead air.  i tell vonage my number and they say no it isn't, its 732-907-2113.  i google the number & find this.  I know i am not calling numbers during the day.  is vonage using my phone number for sales calls??? and vonage tells me thats what my number is??!!!  well i have a different number than that one!!!  what is going on here?????!!!!!  not impressed i am cancelling vonage right away!!!!!!
