These people keep calling about a gym membership I owe.  I have confirmation the membership is cancled and contacted the CS line for the gym who confirmed.  Every time they call they say "you go to jail if you don't pay 100 dollar now" first of all the membership for the months they say I have not paid would not be 100 bucks so how is that a settlement.  Anyway by law I told them to put it in writting who they are the itemized statement and mail it to me.  I have confirmed my address 16 times they call once a day and still nothing has been received.  I adivsed them again we can do this routine everyday but until I get a letter we are just wasting time because I don't pay anyone over the phone who I do not know.  They operate under a legal company however, they are breaking so many collections laws I don't know where to start.  I can't report them to the BB because I have no name,  first of all they should give the name of the company, the reason they are calling, the legal eaze for collecting the debt, not yell at me I'm going to jail for 100 dollar ... yes broken english and all.... so I laugh and repeat myself...you have my address do the right thing if you are not full of BS,  if you can't do that then you are a collection company buying up old debt ( which may or may not be accuarte information ) and in hopes you can make a profit.  Anyone who calls saying you owe a debt you have a right to ask for a written confirmation to include an itemized statement.  If you get that information then you have 31days ( I may be off on the days) to dispute the debt "in writting".

Retro fitness dent collection

Fogasey calls about a collection from Retro Fitness that was canned 2 years ago.  Indian, rude, jerk, etc...

Called me and said it was from fitness connection . Said i had a balance of 150 but its a scam i told him it was a scam and ill talk to the gym in person he was rude and i hung up

Recieved a call from 732-965-2150. When I answered the person calling asked for someone else, had an accent that was maybe middle eastern? He seemed confused when I told him he had the wrong number. I hung up. Makes me a little Paranoid thinking about how ISIS is trying to track service members via social media.

Caller claims I have an outstanding debt with Golds Gym, I cancelled and paid the rest of the contract when I cancelled. They claim I owe $600 and if I don't pay it, charges will be filed against me and I will go to jail.
