thank you just got a call from this number also. It's like a spoof number or something to the hospital.

They called 3 times and then finally left voice mail that it was the University Health Service trying to clarify a prescription request, and left a number to return the call.

I am a Michigan alumnus and all of my other UoM calls have had identifiable phone numbers. Michigan sponsors one of the most widely cited consumer sentiment surveys in the world. My guess is that your number was selected randomly as part of that survey.

It's not necessarily any particular office or person at the university. ALL outgoing calls from University of Michigan numbers show this number on a caller ID. It could be any one of tens of thousands of numbers at the university calling your number.

It's not a 'spoof number'. The university has its own telephone system with tens of thousands of internal telephones. The interface to the external network shows all calls originating inside as coming from this number. Calls originating from within the University of Michigan Health System show as coming from 734-232-0000.

The number could be from the University of Michigan. Out- going calls from there show that number rather than the exact phone number that called you. So I picked up, and the recording said "We are calling because you stayed at our resort and you qualify for" so I hung up. They are obviously spoofing a number I shouldn't block because I could miss a legitimate call. I hope the scammers get shut down soon.

I just got a call from this number. I was not able to answer it and the message was just a couple of seconds of dead air. I wonder what's up with that.

I have no loan and no appointments with U of M. How can I stop these calls?

No message left. When I call back, general supposed Univ of Mich automessage states they cant give specific info on who called me. Wth?
