I got the same email as well but apparently if you owe a payday loan, the loan company sell your information such as address you used when applying for the loan, your email, phone number and SS#.  when he put my cell number and address in the email all of that was from information many many many years ago then i looked into it some more and the question was asked if i ever had a payday loan that may not have been paid in full and i could remember because it's been over 10 yrs since i had a payday loan. Then is when i found out that payday loan companies sell your information ALL OF IT

Got a email today from someone claiming to be Sr. Attorney Lance Morris from Hogan's Law Firm.  I've filed scam email claim with the FBI because this guy has personal information and I have no payday loans as he claims in his email.  Listed below is part of Mr. Morris email.

Let me introduce myself. I am a Senior Attorney Lance Morris from Hogan’s law firm. As we were trying to reach you since couple of days regarding very serious matter about a lawsuit that is filed on your name stating that you are doing some fraud and civil litigations.
I am sorry to say you that you are going to be legally prosecuted in the Court house within couple of days. Your SSN is kept on hold by US Government, so before something goes wrong I thought that I shall call you and notify you about this matter. But as I was not able to reach you I am sending you a final notification email. So please take a piece of paper and write down your case file number CY-17638 and second thing since it’s a legal matter you will need my help, so please write down my callback number    (754) -581-8339 Ext 195.
