Wow, I am getting the same message, for weeks everyday. So i finally answered and it wasn't even for me... They said they were to remove the number.. They are really rude, They said we have been calling serval times and you have not least attempt to call us back.. And i am saying hello get the number right and maybe that person will call you back. What should i do if they keep calling..Help!!!

Recorded message from Amber Knight. Any call from 1-800-984-3711 should be considered a con-artist, fishing for a new victim. Hang up and report them to the FTC, or the Attorney Generals Office in your state.

I called them and told them they had the wrong number.

I didn't have the same issue with rudeness.  They said I have been added to their Do not call list.

I have to say, I've had worse experiences with other companies.  Even if they got the right person, just say it isn't you.  Not too hard.

I have made a formal complaint to the FTC and the FCC as they call using out of state numbers to make these harassing calls. Amber Knight and a person by the name of David Welt? (Welch or Weldon?) also use the following numbers: 571-482-4734 and 276-207-8042 and others, and these are recordings--so even if they call you, you can't speak to them at the time.  In order to talk with someone, you have to call them back.  The number for the Unlawful Call Center is 1-800-257-2969.  The number for the Do Not Call List is 1-888-382-1222. You can use both of the latter two numbers, the first to make a complaint, the second to register your number on the Do Not Call List. These people say they want a "statement" and that "the matter directly involves you" and that they "are very concerned" as perhaps you do not understand the paperwork they are preparing (which essentially is a threat). I did call them back, asked if they were a telemarketer and they said no. I asked who Amber Knight was, and they said, "She's one of our directors here."

yea i received numerous calls and also they got a hold of my job fax number.  They  faxed a employment verification good thing my manager show me that. Idk how they got a hold of my info and also my social but this ridiculous..

This company has been calling my cell and home phone for months now, always giving the same names of David Wells and Amber Knight. I have reported this to authorities but now the horrifying fact is that I noticed a debt on my credit report under this company phone number! I have disputed this because the debt is not mine. The people who call are threatning and will not disclose any company or debt information. I absolutuely refuse to speak to them now, and unless I am ever given proper identification will not deal with unfounded and threatning messages.

They kept calling me so I finally called them back. A guy named JR Wells answered but wouldn't tell me what company they were. His excuse was that there were several companies represented at that phone number. They looked up my phone number and then asked for a name of a person I've never heard of. I told them that no one here has that name and they said I would receive no further calls. Strange.

Scam for sure. Left eerie voicemail saying I needed to call ASAP, and I needed to realize the extent of the trouble I'm in. I requested more information to look up the company. The man wanted me to check my email immediately, did not want to give time to let me research.

I just checked my credit report and I have an alert notice tell me that Cks has a  collection for something that I do not recognize as legit. I do have collections on my credit report but this one I am scratching my head cause I do not recognize it as something that I owe. What can I do? I am tired of this collections. I am considering to file for bankruptcy. I have learned my lesson about credit the hard way. I lost my job back in 08 and have not opened or asked for any type of credit. Everything is cash and if I don't have it I don't get it.

Now I'm concerned. I thought this was just another annoying but harmless scam going around, but now a couple people have had collections related to these phone calls showing up on their credit report!?!?

I feel like we are family I hear you on my answering machine almost daily for the past 2 years. I am way past being mad. What idiot would call someone 800 times and leave the same messAge never to get a reply?

Bottom feeders trying to collect on legally dead debts (zombie debts). The callers names include - Amber Knight, Mrs Whitaker, Nicola Cardenas, Chris Davis, Monica Johnson,  Mr. Blankley, David Wells, Miss Nickwater(?) etc.

The phone messages usually go along the lines of the following: If you would, give me a call back at your earliest convenience. I have, tried to reach you on several attempts but have been unsuccessful. I am responsible for making a recommendation on information that pertains to you, and I would like to make sure the information I have is accurate and current before I make that recommendation.

They never mention your name in these phone calls. Therefore you have no idea whether or not the information actually pertains to you.

Do NOT return their calls. This gives them a valid phone number to work with towards collecting a debt that is dead beyond the statute of legal limitations. Notify the FCC about the harassing calls. State that you have no business with these individuals and therefore they are breaking the law in several areas. 1) They do not identify their "company" 2) They do not state whom they are looking for.

Do your homework as to fair debt collection practices and inform yourselves.

Quit calling me and wasting my time. Get a real job. Have turned you in to Attorney Gen. Get a life girl
