It's definitely a legitimate UPS freight center. They've called me twice to check on a shipment of jam that a friend sent me. It's here in my local town distribution center, somewhere. NOTE: If you call the # back, you'll get either:
1) Recording saying to call main number
2) Disconnected # recording
IT IS UPS CHECKKNG ON A LOST SHIPMENT--NO NEED TO FEAR BILL COLLECTORS!!

they called claiming they are ups left a message new my full name and address. They said i had an open claim but funny thing is, i never opened a claim with ups. its a scam.

Legitimate call from United Parcel Service about a package I had reported lost.  They told me they were unable to find it,  had notified the shipper and that I would be given a credit from the shipper. When I checked with the shipper, they had indeed notified the shipper and the credit had been processed.  Good service from UPS in following through and also a legit number.

Got a call from this number and as soon as I answered they hung up.

It was UPS calling me about a lost package claim that I never requested or received.
