Been receiving calls from this number for months
no one is on the line

This is a collection agency for WAMU.  They were calling about an account that I closed 5 months ago and do not owe any money on.  They did not ask for my social security number, they just asked my name.

how the heck these harrassing chicken chits who give no name or id got my cell phone number is beyond me. If theres so many complaints how do they keep getting away with harrassing people?

They call and also call anyone you might have signed a loan with.  Do not let them harrass you.

Yep....all day long this same number keeps calling my phone.  I'm dealing with the medical bills people already, so I don't know who this would be.

I dont understand. If they are a collection agency, how do they expect to collect any money if they dont talk and hang up on you. Makes no sense to me.

called this # back ( it is West Asset Mgmt) because they were calling my grandmothers land line and apparently it was a cell phone before and they said they would put it in as a wrong number since it was not associated with the person they were looking for. And if your are getting calls from 709-656-9948 this is also West asset mgmt . I was going thru calling all the numbers on the caller id and when i spoke to the lady and gave her the number she said it had been listed as a wrong number in the system already. So hopefully they will not be calling back like they said.
