The jerk keeps calling and hanging up. I'm going to the police.

Guy called, asking to speak to the Owner, by name.  Said he wasn't here.  Guy said he'd "be happy to call back again".  Goody, goody, goody.......not.

Received a call from this number this morning and the caller asked if I was the owner. I asked, of what? and the caller responded with "Intercom." I could tell it was a call center and most likely a scam. Is there a way to report these guys?

this was a call from Community Welfare Service, Inc. They are a professional fundraising firm trying to get donations for South Carolina Professional Firefighters Association (scpffa) www.scpffa.org. This seems to be a sham.

Just calls asking for the owner of the business, when told hes not available (he's NEVER is for these kind of calls) they just hang up and dont leave a message.

Got a call from this number today & man (he knew my name, but that just means he has purchased a list from somewhere) said he was with a "Police Guild" and seeking donations for a "Fallen Officers Memorial Foundation" in Washington State. I told him my Husband works for the Washington State Patrol (he actually does) and that he donates to their fund via his work place. Caller not interested in that and still wants me to make a donation. I repeated myself and he was still wanting me to commit to a donation. He realized he wasn't going to get any credit card info from me & hung up. I suspect these are scammers. When you donate directly to the charity of your choice the funds go entirely to the charity... not to 2nd or 3rd party agencies. NEVER give your credit card info over the phone.

Guy will NOT stop calling after repeatedly beign asked to.  Asks for owner by name, refuses to say what it is regarding and hangs up when I tell him to no longer call.
Calls again so I tell him the owner no longer works here the guy laughs and tells him he is going to tell the owner how unprofessional I am etc... when he speaks to him.
Garbage telephone soliciting at it's finest.

Didnt say who they were, they hung up on me. Probably some scam.

He didn't want to give up any info w/o being pushed for it.  He did say he was the company below. He was very short with me and kept saying I'll hold. I think he hung up, and he didn't call back.  I searched the number and it comes in as Minnesota call.  This is the 3rd scammer call today and I'm sick of it!
Quit wasting our time, we are not stupid!

i keep getting missed calls from this number. can't be a collector as I HAVE NO DEBT.... i am on the national DNC registry..... why are they still calling?!?!

just wondering... when we go to the police about something like this.... do i just give them the phone number?? this is very frustrating!!

Thanks Niki for passing on my number to these guys!! lol, just kidding. I am now blessed with their annoying calls. I love caller ID, now we are just screening the incoming calls and don't pick up when they call back

"You've reached the Fundraising Offices of Community Welfare Services..." Then they go on to say they're raising funds for agencies in your area and they hope they can count on your support. They don't say which agencies, naturally. An obvious scam to get your credit card information.

asked for my husband, when i asked who was calling, said "Tim Lusky", told him my husband lived here but wasn't here at the moment, asked what he wanted.  "Tim" said he would call back and hung up.  Rude man.

They keep calling and asking for my wife by name. Refuse to leave a message. Insist they will call back even when told not to. One time identified themselves as with the Pilip landry Company, probably just a fake name.

Got another call from this number today, August 7, 2011. I answered and no one would answer me back. We have been getting calls at least 1 time per day for the last 2 weeks. I did *69 and it gave me this number. How can I get these callsto stop?

Called and said he was a realtor that wanted to know the vibe of the neighborhood and the market for this area and hoped I won't mind him calling me every few months to ask about it. And maybe later on think of him when I was going to sell my own home. I told him we had a realtor in the family and hung up. Sounded really weird to me.
