Do not give any more money, they are not legitimate!!!! They are being investigated through agencies from Atlanta. Because it was reported in the news that a couple of states are allowing consumers to be jailed for debts these companies are attempting to scam people for anything they can get. Tell them to "f" off and die, they cannot do a darn thing to you except rip you off......

Received a letter the other day from National Credit Adjusters saying that they had taken the account back over from Investigative Recovery Services and wanted to re-establish my payment plan. Odd thing is the balance remaining was more than it should have been. I called them and stayed on the phone for 45 minutes and kept being put from 5th caller to 1st and back and forth, so I said forget it. Not sure what is going on with these companies, but fearful to send anyone any money now.

Received a phone call from Leonard Phillips, lead investigator for Cohen, Schwarz & Associates. Called back and was not able to speak to him (at lunch). Spoke with Miss Smith. Apparently regarding a payday advance from Loan Point USA in 2007 - balance of $170??
Report them to your local Atty Gen office for harassment and illegal debt collection practices.
Send Cease & Desist contact letters to 4355 Cobb Parkway, Suite J-552, Atlanta, GA 30339.

They called me and my fatherinlaw, about Identity theft and an old loan, that  I already paid off! Saying to call by the end of the day, or I will go to jail....ect...SCAM!

What sickens me more than scamming collectors is the fact that you the debtor are nothing but thieves!!!!!! These are legitimate debts that need to be repaid by you!!!!!!!! Don't get mad at the collection agencies that are trying to do their job. You, the debtor, are the people who take something whether it be money, merchandise or credit and act like it's free. Pay these people back what they have given you the debtor and you won't have to worry about harassing phone calls!!!! It's also sad that collectors have to reduce themselves to such tactics to get back what's owed to their clients from thieves like all you debtors. Pay your bills and stop hiding and running from your obligations!!!!!!!!!!!
