I got this number twice today, both times my answering machine got it and there was no one on the other side.  CID said 'DONT ANSWER' -- wtf??

I didn't answer this call, but its the second time they called.  Never leave a message.  I'm on the do not call list.....

same here.  cid said "do not answer", so i didn't.  they did not leave a message.  i am on the do not call list?  who are these people and how do you report them.  i am getting alot of unwanted solicitation and i thought being on the list was suppose to stop it.

I had gotten a call today, they say they are with a autoloan company out of CA.  if you get a call and your on the do not call list, go back to your do not call page and file a complaint with their number.

i got this call today, it was from an indian-sounding man who claimed i signed up for an auto loan. i told him i hadn't and he got mad and hung up...

this was strange to see the caller id saying don't answer. my teenager answered the phone and said they were trying to get ahold of "jessica" and our loan was approved. my daughter hung up right away. for 1, there is no jessica living here, and for 2, we never applied for a loan. first thing that went through our heads was, SCAM! so i called the number back to see what it had to say, i guess it has our number stored somehow cause it(automated answering voice) said they were trying to get ahold of jesse(my husband's name) and he was approved for a loan. and i had to stay on the line and verify info so the money could be deposited into our account. i said screw this and hung up. my husband and i have not applied for a loan. this is so weird.

There was a fraud on my bank account two weeks ago,so I got a lot of unwanted calls since there.
Today,I received a call from this number and the robot says my name and that I was approved for a loan.
I never applied for a loan.What scares me is that they have my personal information.

Just received call from this number a few minutes ago on my cell phone. I did not answer it, however there was a message left on my voice mail saying that I was approved for an auto loan. Seems like a scam to me as I don't even drive.  I am pretty concerned about this as this isn't the first time I got a call with this message.  Pretty scary these days with all the identity theft and such going on.

THIS CALLER IS HEREBY ADVISED:
1. YOU ARE WASTING YOUR TIME CALLING US..

2. WHATEVER YOUR PROBLEM IS, PLEASE TAKE IT SOMEWHERE ELSE.

3. WE ARE ON THE NATIONAL DO-NOT-CALL-LIST. THAT MEANS DON'T CALL US.

4. PLEASE DON'T BE A JERK.  WE DON'T PLAY YOUR GAME.

about a loan

This was really very bad. I got the phone message, which starts midway through, telling you it's very urgent to press a certain number.

I called back only to say I am on the national "Do Not Call" registry, but of course I couldn't get to a person without "accepting" something undesirable to me.

The message said that if I wanted to be taken off the list and not be called again, I should press "9," which I did. I wasn't goint to -- I was going to hang up, but the recording went on with a message that seemed to indicate that they were proceeding with my acceptance if I didn't press "9." Very sneaky. Then the message continued to say that in apology for the intrusion, they'd like to offer me free gas money, and a store Visa. You had to press "0" to take advantage of this "offer," and of course I did not. The instructions were to hang up. Supposedly then you will not hear from them again.

I'm looking for somewhere to report these people to. Would love any suggestions. I don't even have a name for the company -- there was never a point where one was provided before the instrux, finally, to hang up if you wanted to be left alone.

This crazy mom on CAFEMOM was talking about this.  She probably owes lots of money to someone.

been getting these recordings on my answering machine every day.  who do we report this to? As everyone else, I do not answer the call.

Just got this.. I have never seen CID say Don't Answer before. They left a message saying my loan has been approved. hate these calls!!!
