I received a call on April 4 from a number identified as BDO HOME LOAN, so I answered it because it was registered as BDO. The caller seemed to be a proficient speaker, much like a typical customer service representative, and was fluent in English. Initially, he said, 'Congratulations! Your BDO Shopmore Mastercard has been approved.' I was very happy because I had a pending application for a credit card with BDO. After that, he began explaining the terms and conditions, verifying and confirming my personal details. I didn't provide any additional information; I just confirmed the details he mentioned. Then, a few days later, I opened my BDO app and was terrified to see that my credit card had been linked to it and needed to be activated. I asked my co-workers who have credit cards, and they said that it's not like that that it will automatically linked. Am I being scammed? I'm totally terrified right now, especially since I'm still waiting for my credit card. I need advice, please, guys.
