They've called me a few times when I've been in my car.  The next time they call and I am in my car or near a stereo, I'm cranking it up and putting the phone to the speaker!

Just got one, didn't answer and they didn't leave a message. I really hate crank calls. I was a telephone operator (back in the day..) and before there was caller ID, instead of paying for a line trap and going through the court hassle, we used to recommend blowing a coach's whistle into the phone. Not really sure how this will work with my iphone but someone may be getting an earful.

How do I stop these calls?

I meet Jamas Anthony on match.com from Orlando Fla, dating scam, Jamesan009@Yahoo.com, phone numbers 7748283686237 & 865-6696 and other numbers, they keep calling/text/email asking for money, he said he went to Canada for work and then got fired need money to get home, then went to Nigeria to build bridges they paid him but could not cash the check over there, that or send money to paid the taxes on the check. And in Nigeria needs money for airline ticket, KLM sent me a fake booking number, someone at the airport paid for the ticket and he needs to pay them back.  Now he said he is in London, need money to get home.... Husband and Wife team or Calling center dating scam. He has different people/family member pick up money in other countries from Western Union and Money Gram, he will not let you buy a ticket for him, he said he not a child. All want US $$$$.... The pictures he uses on dating services are 8 years old...
Yes I have talk to him/them different accent like Germany, French, or French Canadian, old and young every time they call.  SCAM, SCAM, SCAM....

I'm also with sprint and started getting theses calls after having the iPhone for a couple of month. The call come at 3am and at 7am!

Ya know if some of you people would read the posts you would have the answers to your questions
As multiple people have already stated on the sprint network is someone calls u private then this is the number sprint uses to represent a private number for instance if u type *67 to block your number this is what comes up

I've gotten called from 3 different numbers, spelling out stuff like "unknown" and "private number". Just silence when I answer. It's irritating and I feel like im being stalked. Also, sprint iPhone as well

Yeah this person called me and it was a guy and he said i got his daughter pregnant and know all my info.

7748283686237 This number just called and the message was from a lady saying I won an engagement package. I just got a dress from David Bridal and the Men's Wear House also started calling. They are the place that recently made me fill a card with my info. According to a few people David's Bridal Sales their information to third parties. The number might be from another country (like India) working for some American scam company.

If you look on the keypad the numbers spell out PRIVATE NUMBER. I didn't answer and the voicemail was from my storage bin company.

called me at 8:42 PM on Saturday and asked for Kevin.  wanted to argue when I told them they had a wron number, then they hung up.

I think it's an app that people download to call people since now a days nobody answers private calls cause I got a cal from this # n it was my ediot ex bf so yea

I have an iPhone with sprint and this number shows up when someone calls me from a private number. Idk why it doesn't just say private, it would have saved me a lot of aggravation if I would have known sooner!

Not only sprint phones I have Telus n phone is a Samsung galaxy n I agree tht it is when someone us using *67... Cuz u jus broke it off wit my bf td n never had prank calls bfore..

Ditto on the rest, but I do not have an iphone.  I do have Sprint on a blackberry.  I have relatives in Russia, so thought it was legitimate.  Country Code 7.  However, it had too many digits.  I see here I am not alone.  Multiple calls in a short period but then it went away. I never answer private number calls and this is a company supplied phone that has no attachment to my name.  So, I am curious what is the purpose?  The caller must have a reason to call.  Even a prank or scam needs a result.

The following callers from number 774-828-368-6237 keeps calling me telling me i have a claim against me, & they want my address & other info to process my claim & send it to me in the mail because they represent a firm, but won't give me anymore information. Plz help stop them from harrassing me.
