Hey do u have an Iphone cause these same number is calling me but with a different tatic

I just received a call from 7748283686237 as unknown on my 4 month old iPhone4S from Sprint my new carrier.  I did not pickup the call and will monitor to see if they call again.  Annoying to say the least.

They have called me twice. Once yesterday at 9:32 a.m and once today a few minutes ago. I didn't answer but I thought maybe my dad was calling me from the hospital my grandpa is in. Next time they call I'm answering and it seems like its going to be extremely creepy. I have a iphone threw sprint and just got it about 2 weeks ago but this is CREEPY.

who the hell does this number belong too? called me twice don't leave a  message and I won't pick up numbers that i don't know...how the [***] did they get my number??

the number isn't private.. the number thats been calling is 7748283686237 and they called about 5 times. i answered the phone and didnt say anything and they didnt say anything either so i just hung up but then they called back agian! called 5 times! i dont know how to block the number since the number is sooo long. but everyone says that whoever they are they have been only calling spring iphone 4s phones. but i have had my phone for about 5 months now and i have no clue how this person got my number, but im getting a little scared and really want to know who it is

I have been recieving the phone calls for the last 2 weeks, and I just go the iPhone on Sprint Network, however I called my number and pressed *67 and the same number came up, so I think it is somebody who is calling and blocking there number from you

It means someone has there number private, it spells out privatenumber on the key pad it's a sprint iPhone 4/4S glitch there fixing

This number 7748283686237 spells out privatenumber.  its some kind of error with the Iphone.  i dont know why it does it.  i got the same thing screen when a family member called me.  they then called me on my land phone and asked why i didnt pick up.

I just purchased Iphone thru sprint and just received the same issue I wonder how long it will take for them to fix? i just called sprint to have them block that number.....I will advice if it works. I tried to educate the rep but she didnt seem concern WOW

I just got a call from this number and when I answered nobody was there.  After some searching on the web I came across this forum.  As I was reading through some of the frustrations, I got a voicemail - it was from the Sprint store, calling about a phone I had just dropped off for repair.  For me, anyway, I think the call came from Sprint.  I think LMAO (i found the answer) is right in that this refers to any private number.  Must be a bug in the software.

I got a call from this number and it was a representative from the Walgreens take care clinic to check in and see how I was feeling from my appointment with them last week

You all are [***]. I got 1 call. Did 1 search. And got peace of mind. Block the number and get on with your lives.

What number do we block tho?  There r too many numbers and it says its an invalid code or number when I try to call it back. If u can help with this I will be more than happy to block it! lol  The number that calls me is   7748283686237

I just called my iPhone 4S (thru sprint) from my home phone as a blocked number and yep! It is the same number that comes up! So it must be that Sprint cannot spell "PRIVATE NUMBER" with letters so it uses numbers (which spell it out). I am guessing we all have someone in our lives trying to [***] with us and play child games. Unfortunately no way to block "private" calls on this (that I have found yet) Take care all!

Tom is right. We tested it.  This is the number that shows up on caller ID when someone dials #67 (to hide their number) at the beginning of the number they are calling.  It appears this could be anyone calling who wants to hide their identity.
