+1 778 282 8061 called now the 2nd time after I purchased a new (to me) vehicle. They claim to do a research for ICBC. Both women had a strong Asian accent, and have a problem to comprehend when you talk "faster than reeeaaaally sloooow". Additionally, they write also down what you say, but it appears that they write by hand, not fast typing on a computer.... The first one called me a few days ago while I was in the car, she did not call again in an hour, as I mentioned that I would be at home by then and can answer her questions. Today, Sat., another Asian lady called, struggling again while slooowly trying to repeat and writing down what I said to her (no important info given since she was only able to ask one question, interrupted by "ooohhhhs and aaaahs" when I mentioned that she apparently misinterprets what I am telling her...)
Excuse my language, but >WTF !?!? < ... how can ICBC hire people like this for surveys/research, who have a problem understanding people speaking anyhow not very fast. I won't be picking up calls from this phone number anymore

I received a call from this number and the person had a really thick East Indian accent, the line kept fading in and out and I only got half of what he was saying. Stated he was calling on behalf of ICBC, but that was all I could understand, and I had ask him to repeat everything.

Same here - quarter to nine at night - could barely hear them. Thought someone had hit my car or something - dissolve ICBC or better yet - let them compete in a fair marketplace of insurers! They only ask because they want know just HOW hated they are....

I told them I thought it a scam and I would contact ICBC to find out  if they authorized this so called survey  wanted and the lady was at a total loss for words.... I hung up

“I’m calling fromICBC”….. As previously mentioned, Asian accent and asking about someone I’ve never heard of. I was expecting a call, so didn’t check the number before picking up,but ICBCis always displayed when they call.

I got the same calls from this number - claiming he was IPSOS Reid conducting a survey regarding the level of service provided by ICBC. I literally submitted a claim 24 hours before the call came so had nothing to offer therefore felt this was a bit shady.

I don’t answer calls unless I recognize the number bc I just don’t like talking to people and they have called me twice at different times for 4 days straight. if it was that important that I answer just leave a damn message

So glad I didn’t answer the call today! I did submit a claim yesterday, but I try not to answer calls I’m not expecting a call back from. I get too many spam calls as it is!

This phone number has called me for several days, but I have not received it. Just now, a woman with an Indian accent said that ICBC is doing a  survey. I said I have to contact ICBC by myself, and she hung up. call

If you did not receive a call then how do you know that this phone number is calling you?

Lady with thick Indian accent called claiming they are doing research "survey" for ICBC. My caller ID says the number who called me is 778-282-8061. I don't know how the heck they got my number but I recently renewed my insurance and wonder if they pawned my number off of that. I found the call suspicious as they called on a Friday night just before 9pm. I didn't give them any information and declined the survey but willing to "call them back" and so they gave me their number 1-877-990-3599. Very suspicious that the number they called me is different than the number they gave me...DO NOT TRUST. If you can, block them. Not worth your time.

I had a claim going on with icbc and received a call from this number saying I am doing a survey and calling on behalf of icbc. I asked again who are you and they said they are from some ipso marketing research company. I just hanged up the call

This number just called me, asked to speak to a woman named "Marissa" and I told 'em wrong number and hung up.  Sounded to be a middle aged man? Perhaps looking for a relative or someone he knew.

got called by this number two times this week, claimed doing a survey on behalf of ICBC, very strong accent, had to ask him repeating a couple of times, finally asked him spelling the word, and heard he spelled something like "wyer", then he hung up.  I guess he was trying to say "lawyer", but it sound like "royal" or "loyal"...my!

Called me 4 times in the last 24 hours with no message

opened a claim a couple days ago for weather damage, now getting repeat calls from this number. I haven’t picked up. Gathering all the comments on here seems to be a fake ICBC scam, they always call outside of ICBC business hours. If it was truly an important ICBC call they would leave a message/ contact via email that you provided when filing claim online.  I suggest anyone who gets these calls to not give out any information and block.

This number just called me. 7:30 p.m. She said she is doing an ICBC survey. I just renewed my DL so I nearly believed her. But calling at 7:30 pm is really weird.

got a called from a native English speaker with no accent inquiring about my recent claim with ICBC, he was very direct and offensive in his tone which I didn't like. I told him he has to elaborates more or I wont answer anything, but he knew my full name which I find it weird. He said he cant complete the survey cause I refused to say anything and he hang up.
