I have had several calls from this number this week. No message left.

I have received calls from this number every day this week. The first day 3 times at different times. No message left.

Same here, three times this week.  No messages.  I called to make sure it wasn't a package I was waiting for and no answer.

Received calls from this number 778-771-2896 several times in a week. Every time it's 3 calls at separate times in a day (morning, noon, and evening.

You are all correct, I won't pick up calls either from unknown #s, but also be careful with nowadays AI techno, they could potentially took control of a familiar # and use that to call.  It happened to me years ago before all these scams were made aware.  I answered a call with no answer, so I hung up but they took my # to call my home; so right there I realized it was a scam!  I understand that's how they would use the # to place long distance calls etc.
