Keep getting calls from this number.  I don't say anything first when an unknown number calls me, so when I didn't say anything, a message started playing that said, "I didn't here you please call us back at 1888 ...."  Sorry, I didn't get the rest of the number because I hung up.
They keep calling back now and hanging up.  I'm sure it's a scam because I don't owe anything.

I keep getting calls from this number and just ignored it cuz I’m not expecting any calls.

1-2 calls per day, never answered. Never voicemail. Lasted a week so far and ongoing.

I have also been getting calls every day from this #.  I always let it go to voice mail but no messages left.  So I have now blocked that phone #

I keep getting this number calling me. They leave a 6 second voice mail every time and it is blank. I called the number back by accident and I hung up as soon as I noticed what I had done. I also text them instead of a friend of mine while I was multi tasking ever so efficiently, and no response to I’m going to be a few more minutes, although they called me back right away after I hung up on them. I still did not answer. I don’t feel good about them. I’m going to block them.

There’s calls from that number 7803284919 to my daughters phone 2 times a day, I’ve blocked my number and called them they say there pexus (🤷🏻‍♀️) I’ve asked that lady who answered the phone to remove my daughters phone # (she’s 9 yrs old) from there call back, she said they were looking for a guy named Gordon. They still haven’t removed her # she’s still getting calls, I have the calls blocked from unknown numbers, calling and not leaving a voicemail 🙄

Same for me, calling few times daily. When pick up - 20 seconds quiet, then auto voice “We cannot contact you, call us…” and number, which I never saved.

this telephone number seems to be for a collection agengy that cals themseves Pexus Customer Solutions .... nothing shows up for that with an internet search. It may just be one of many names that the seazebags are using. We have no idea why we are getting calls from them. We do not owe anyone any money.

Almost every 2nd day I get at least two calls from this number and they leave no message. The number, 780-328-4919 has been on my blocked list for a while now. It originally came up potential fraud hence the reasono I blocked it. Just another annoying idiot scammer.

At least one other poster gave us information that could be used to help instead of simply saying that they blocked the number.

Looking from what DynaRyder said, I looked it up and it’s not “pexus”… its “Pyxis Solutions” in Alberta.

It’s a debt buying/collection company, so really just a quasi-legal grey-area scammer. These types of companies buy unpaid debts for Pennies on the dollar, then harass people to pay as much of the full amount as they can convince them to pay… even if the debt is beyond the statute of limitations and doesn’t legally exist/can’t legally be prosecuted any more. Alberta has the longest potential statute of limitations for unsecured debts (up to 10 years) which is why a lot of these debt buying companies choose to do business from there. If you don’t know anyone in Alberta, this is another good reason to ignore any/all calls from the Texas of the North.

They’ve been calling my number twice a day, Monday to Friday, for a while now. (I guess whoever had my phone number before I got it hooked up had debts they didn’t pay, and their file hasn’t updated to say the number no longer belongs to them.) I’ve googled the number a couple times before and found no info on it until now/this thread, so I’m glad I tried searching it again and finally learned exactly who/what this crap is. Thanks y’all :)

Just block the number. That’s what I’m gonna do now. Tho the company’s web page says they also work with subcontractor collectors, so be aware if you get other unknown numbers showing up after this one, they’re likely related… but you can just block those too

As Gary (post just before yours) suggested, it does appear to be Pyxis solutions.  Call back to the number (after many tries) finally got an agent who identified themselves.  If you are going to return the call, it would be prudent to use the number published on their website as phone numbers, even those of legitimate companies, can be spoofed.  In addition, familiarize yourself with your rights when dealing with debt collectors.  Read here:
