this is suppose to be a dell customer rep

780-392-0160 just called my work, which is a car dealership, and asked if we were at this address. I said yes. She then asked if we sold new Lincoln's and I told her yes. She said thank you and hung up... It was weird?? She also had a very hard to understand accent as well.

Called our office and asked if we occupied the entire building. When asked the nature of their call, they hung up. Then they called back and asked about our parent company.

Phone rang twice, I called back and lady stated she was from service Canada checking on a employment insurance claim....

I received a call from this number also.  She told me the Dell computer I ordered was no longer available.  She asked me for my email address to send me a "code" to order a replacement computer for the same price.  I haven't received and email or the code.  She also she would call me back later in the evening to place my order.

So the call comes from Sears, or your local bank, or Dell, or Gmail support or Clearly Contacts.  But the caller ID on my phone said "unknown caller".  No legitimate company would hide their caller ID.  It's phishing, or someone trying to put charges on your phone bill for non-existent calls.

I received a call they asked to confirm our Firm's name and address (public information).  I confirmed the information they gave me wads correct and they hung up before I could even respond or ask who they were.

Called my work phone, but did not leave message.

I got a call from this number the foreign guy claimed to be from care one services about James I don't know a James or have any ties to this care one service, he wanted an account number because there was a hold on the account and he needed to verify the account!

They just did this to me. They said is this the address to my company and I said yes it is. He said thanks and hung up. I called their number back but no one is answering. Edmonton 1780-392-0160 is all that will come up on caller ID.

780 area code is out of Alberta, Canada.  He called twice in the row.  He said he was doing an assesses for Thomas International and want to know if still at the 'xyz' address.  When I asked for who do you work for? he got nervous and hang up.  SCAM!!!

They are not Dell sales ! Heavy indian accent checking name and address for a purchase that didn't went trough SCAM!!!

Asian from Phillipines asking me my address to confirm tell them that they are liears and they will hang up. They will try to send a fake bill or something. going to hell!

Call from this number claims to be trans union smart move dispute department. They left an message that they requesting me to send them a copy of my id to a out of country phone number. No name just company name. Different phone numbers one being for another country

save yourself a LOT of time and bandwidth:  If you see a number you don't recognize... JUST DON'T ANSWER IT.

I received three (3) calls from the same telephone number (780) 392-0160, after "Chatting" with a representative via internet on the Dell site.  I did not answer the phone because it appeared on my ID as a call from "Alberta."  I decided to put the number in Google and so glad that I did!  The comments are very informative and scary at the same time.

Today I received a call from +1 (780) 392-0160 on my cell, I didn't answer.

Got 3 phone calls today. Few seconds apart. They didnt leave a message. Sounds like a scam to me.
