780-851-3579

We have a call from 1788513579. He said from google maps and ask about closing time

Same situation as Tag. Man called saying he's from google maps and asked our closing times. Really suspicious

Just had the same call. Wish I hadn't answered.

Google Maps - asked what time company hours were. I said they're on the website and he said okay, I'll check the website and hung up.

Same, he asked for our company's hours. He looks suspicious thought.
Don't answer when you see "Alberta"

Scam. Google Maps doesn't call people, ever. Period.

Ya what kind of scam is this? Guy was super rude and weird

This is a phishing scam, or if you were asked for money, just a plain vanilla bait and switch.

Called to ask about store hours and said from Google Assistant.

Just received the call from 780-851-3579. Male stated he was "from google maps, and given the current health pandemic" he wanted to confirm business hours.

Google does have this number listed on its website indicating it would be calling out, and specifically states to update hours...

Might be legit, but I can update my own hours manually.....

Called and said that due to the pandemic they would like to update my business hours and said this is an automated google call, so I asked him if he is robot or a human being and hanged up. Why would he want to update my business hours for me?

Received a call from this number on Feb. 28/20 at 6:15 PM.  Claimed he was from Google and questioned me about my business hours indicated on my Google ad.  Once I hung up, my cell phone indicated it was a "potential fraud" call.  Wish the warning had come up before I answered.

This guy called from 780-851-3579, said he’s from google maps and sounded pissed off or maybe he’s just a miserable [***]. Wanted to know my hours of operation. I told him, and he still had attitude. Not sure what he was up to, but i know he didn’t want my services. Fishing for something?

I just got this call, saying Google Maps. I answered in French because, 9/10 times scammers hang up. They didn't so I did. I can update my business hours when I want. Most of the time, I get an email asking for holidays to confirm.

No one should be answering call from these scammer. why would google call you at first place when they already have enough information on their database. We need our government to step up and stop these time wasting calls to our citizens

Same thing happened to me - word for word. Anyone figure out what this is?

Got a call from someone saying they were with Google maps and that the conversation was being recorded.  Wanted to know my hours of operation.  I said I had the same call last week, he got snotty and said "give me your hours of operation"., I hung up.

This phone call saying Good maps and asking open hours. It isn't real person speaking. It is weird .

He called asking my closing hours. Didn't know what to do so gave him the wrong hours.

Just got a call from this number on a business line. There was so much static on the line that I couldn't even understand what was being said.
