I have had repeated calls from this number and I finally answered.  She said she was from Consumer Collection Services (or something like that). She asked me to confirm my address, I refused and asked what this was about. She said "is related to Mediacom." She then asked for the last 4 of my SSN; I refused to give it and then asked again what this was about and said I do not have any accounts with Mediacom.  She said "this may be something old" and once again asked for my SSN.  I again refused and she said "okay, we can try back at another time."  I told her to go ahead and try but I still wasn't going to give her my address or SSN.  She said okay/have a good day and hung up.

Person called, identified herself as credit agency. Asked for address, I said no, then she asked for last 4 digits of ss #. I informed her that she was a hoax, and she said have a nice day and disconnected.

Got a call from about a debt with Frontier communication, which I never heard of.  Wanted my address, phone number, and last 4 of SSN.  I refused and called Frontier they confirmed I don't have an account with them.

Got a call from this number and they asked for my name, before I answered confirming who I was (first name only) they asked if I was Paul. I told them I am. I asked what this was in reference to and they said a debt collection and asked if they could transfer me. I told them no and they asked when would be a better time to call back. I have yet to hear from them.

Just got a call today and asked me if this was (name). I said yes. Then they asked me to verify my address and I asked them no, what’s this in regards to. They just gave me their name again. Then changed and asked me to verify my birthday. I just laughed and said “Uuh no” and hung up.
