Just received the same call, they left a message with all of the same information I see elsewhere reported here. Only thing to add is that they identified themselves as "cardholder services."

It's is a credit card marketing group.  I asked him if he believed in Santa.  He said, no.  I asked why not.  He hung up.

Received call a short time ago, automated - card member services - Clyde, KS - I hung up on them.  Only answered because I was expecting a call from the 785 area code.

The guy is busy today.  I, too, just received a call.  When I answered, no one responded.  When I attempted to call back, I got a recording that the number is a non-working number. How can it be working one minute when they place a call, but non-working when I attempt to call back?  What really irriates me is that the call came in on an unlisted government-issued cellphone.  Perhaps I should make a report to the IG's office.

Same as others. I didn't recognize, so I didn't answer. No message left. Appears to be a scam.  

I just received a call from this number too. Now a days I don't even attempt to answer any phone number that I don't recognize. It annoys me too that it's my cell phone number they are calling.

Will not leave me alone.

This is quite possibly the best way I've seen telemarketers handled, and it's absolutely hilarious. Google "Henry Rollins Telemarketers"; it'll be a YouTube clip. The filthier you get with them, the funnier it is. You just have to be seriously careful not to cross any lines that could get you in legal trouble.

Got a call, don't ever answer if I don't know the number. Too many telemarketers and scams these days. Love M's comment

I get these all the time on both our home & cell phones. Hate it as we're on the do not call list!.  When I try to call back, the number is usually scammed & one can't reach a live operator.  If by my poor luck, I answer, I will wait until the salesperson gets on, then talk real soft & sound feeble, like I'm old (actually, I'm not that far off, ha). After I know they've adjusted their headset volume or pressed their ear up tight to make sure they can hear me, I blow a coach's whistle into my phone mouthpiece.  Funny, but they seem to hang up swearing!

Called this morning, I have friends in KS so I answered but nothing on other end

that is good idea, unless you have a phone where you have to pay for each minute like prepaid phone, or go phones.

I got this call as a missed call. When I called back the number, it was an ad from Verizon, but it said that the number was no longer in service, and it had just called me 15 mins. before that.

I got a call, but blissfully slept through it, and they left no message.  I had to turn my ringer down because some lady has been giving out my number as hers and I have gotten calls as early as 7am for her and as late as 11pm.  Fml on that one.  

Appears everyone is receiving a call from this number. I received my call on 12/16/2013. I picked up and it was a automat tape machine telling me that someone has missed used my credit cards and please stay on the line, they need personel i.d. info to help me to recover my loses. I hang-up.  If this was real, my credeit card companies would of called me ASAP.

There was a call from this number at about 8 PM last night.  No message.  Another silent caller.  If you don't have business with us, please don't call!  You are creating a bunch of non-work for me.

Leave every cellphone number alone! It's very annoying!
