Got a call from this number, didnt answer tho

Gotta a call from this number beep an hung up

Received call at 12:33 pm. Upon answer there was a beep then silence,  call then disconnected.  Upon call back get message that call cannot be completed as dialed please check number and call again

How THE [***]. Did they get MY number

i keep getting calls from this number it hangs upp when i try to call bacxk it hangs up its wasting all my minutes

Answered this # on my cell 5 min ago.  Sounded like someone yelling in a foreign tongue.  Hung-up within 5 sec.  Have heard nothing since.

Got a calf from this number when I call back. It day the mailbox is full

I also got this call.  Didn't try to call back. Have been getting lots of calls originating from Calif. Always just a beep then they hang up. Very irritating.  Since we are in the middle of some very complicated business here, I can't not answer my phone at this time.  Could be the call I am waiting for.

called twice.  Spanish message.  I hung up.  Very
upsetting.  I do not know anyone from this area code.

Just got call. Has anyone had any calls made to foreign countries, ie, ID theft as a result if this scam?

That is my concern. A friend had $600 in calls to Brazil which The phone company was not willing to take off her bill even though she was a very long term customer and never called Brazil.

I had a missed call from this number because I was at work and couldn't answer at that time. I called it back on break and the recording said it wasn't a working number. I am on the DCN list.

Just took my lunch break since I'm at work and checked my cell and noticed this phone number listed under missed calls. Way too many scams going on right now. After seeing others posts about this I'm not giving it the time of day to call back. We are on not only our states DNC list but Federal as well!! I'm placing a block on this number in my phone. This is ridiculous!!

the gov't doesn't care about it's people.  they only care about the money they can scam.  the dnc probably sold them the list.

Received a call on my cell from this number. I make it a policy to never answer a number I don't recognize ... if it's actually important, they'll leave a voicemail. This blog only confirms my suspicion. One suggestion to all, based on another practice I use:
Most folks have a limited block list capacity which can get filled rapidly. I save the received number in my cell and tag it with "IGNOR [type]" where "type" is telemarketer, subscription, scam, etc. so if it comes up again, it's identified immediately and easily avoided. Yeah, I have to clean out my "IGNOR" contacts from time to time, but it sure helps. The harassment calls are not going away. The instigators just get smarter and more innovative as the authorities get more aggressive. Just a different form of hacking in an attempt to impress everyone on how smart they think they are.

I received this call after I began to investigate an unknown transaction that was made on my bank account. It was a recording in Spanish.

keep calling a cell i only us for family emergencies, we have three very bad issues going on right now. i do not answer calls, but when you are really trying to keep batteries up and ready, it' s pretty anoying. the number has called about 15 times in this week alone. i live in 417 area code, missouri.
