8001

Just got a call from 8001 at 12:05 am.  Didn't answer.  How can they call from such a number as this and why so late at night?

I have suddenly been getting calls, around twice or three times daily from the 8001 number. No area code, no other numbers attached, just 8001. Since I work on a phone line giving advice, I thought it might be an error from the company I work for but no one knows anything about this number and it's not them doing it. No one answers when I say Hello. I assume it's some glitch in one of the phone company virtual lines since I receive it on my cell phone. It's not only at night. I get the calls in the afternoon when I am at my second job in a retail store. Very annoying.

Got a message from the same number. Something in french trying to sell me something if I understood it correctly

I’ve had a message from 8001 telling me to call but the weirdest thing is that the message wrote my name !! the message was « -my name- call me » which is very weird and freaky

I have been given a 8001 number. Is it free?

From other posts, this seems to be a phishing scam. So it is not free, you just pay more later.

No longer in these regions?  Click here  https:/ / paynr. co / 3MFty2 r " .I specially type link with space between, originally was without. I have no any connection with mentioned areas and had never been there. Beware, don't click and open the links!

Is this scam or what?
