My phone rang for over 14 minutes, like they are so important and powerful! There should be legislation on this issue!

It's non violent terrorism plain and simple!

I used to work for Accounts Receiveable Management... everyone on this board complaining is a bunch of [***] idiots... pay your bills [***] and you wont get calls  bottom line...

rude people who made a mistake in calling me and hung up on me 4 times. i have no debt  with them and was furious they got info from me by yelling at me. please help ....want to protect my  credit.

All the calls would stop if you people pay ur bills!!!!!! It's your fault u get these calls>> And as far as a real job we make more money than u could in a year all becuz u guys won't pay your bills If it wasn't for debtors like you we would I wouldn't make as much as I do so keep not paying ur bills and have that interest add up>> It's putting more money in my pocket to pay my bills

Thanks for the information Dave.  I have been receiving calls from many different "collection agencies" and saw your posting here so decided to report them all.  I never would have known what my rights are if not for that.

They called and left a message on my phone saying they were attempting to collect a debt, but I have no such debt!

The voice was a woman with an English accent, and was obviously a recording...

My husband and I bought our daughter a cell phone last Christmas and ever since it was activated these people have been calling.  Yes for almost a year.  They continually ask for someone named Johanna Pelican.  I have repeatedly told them I don't know anyone by that name and have explained that it is now the number to our daughters phone.  She got another call from them tonight.  I decided to call the number back and low and behold someone answered.  They claim to be a collections department, I explained to the lady the situation and SHE REPEATED THE NUMBER I WAS CALLING FROM. Yes she repeated my daughters phone number back to me, I NEVER gave her the number in the first place.  When I asked her how she new the number I was calling from she hung up on me.  I am glad I called from her cell and not from our home number.  How did she know the number?????

I recieved a call from this company at work, although they didn't ask for me, they asked a different first name with my last name.  My coworker who took the call provided my first name and they decided I was good enough to harrass. This sounds like a scam to me.  I would suggest not returning any calls and threaten to press charges for harassment if the calls persist.

They have caller ID...that is how they know your number.  I just called to tell them they have a wrong number and a very nice lady answered and told me it would be cleared up, so we shall see.  She didn't ask me for my number, but asked if the number I was calling from was the one they were calling and she confirmed the name of the person I said they were calling.

I've gotten several calls on my cell phone (which is out of Florida) in the last few days from this 800-220-3350 phone number.  Once I go through the menuing nonsense they insist that I am Matt Freeman.  I tell them that I am not, that I've had this number for 5 years and they need to identifiy themselves.

I told them to remove me from their call list immediately and they told me to give them my number.  I told this person, you already have it, remember you called me.  She said that they've got 5 numbers on the screen and they need to know which one.  I said, remove all of them, or else I'll call law enforcement.  They laughed at me an hung up.

just got a phone call with that number, I call [***] I monitor my credit everyday and all 3 credit bureaus dont have ARM as anything I owe, [***] them I dont know how they got my number... Good Luck with you guys. I also get calls from these following numbers too (423)733-5103 (269)768-2490 (954)905-1820 (866)961-9224 If you owed a company and its passed 7 years you dont owe it. the fact is they messed up ur credit by putting negative in it for 7 yrs. Check out FCRA fair credit Act. You dont owe [***]. [***] them!!

Today I submitted a complaint to the FCC.
Tonight 9:14 PM, they called again. I did not answer.
What more can I do?

I have only recieved a call from these ppl twice now. (luckily) Its from a man named Mark Jones. He keeps telling me that they have settlement options available until the end of the year, but I don't have to settle by then...? Anyways, I refuse to talk to any collection agency since they are not my creditors, so I just let it go to voicemail. :) If they call me again I will be sure to tell them where they can go... if you know what I mean. :)

My 9 year old daughter keeps getting automated phone calls from this number for a person by the name of Paul Davis.  I have called and tried to speak with someone but haven't gotten anything but option of leaving a message.

my family have been getting calls from these people for months now. they ask for me and when i answer they just hang off. or my children say "why do you want" they just hang up. they call from different numbers.all saying toll free.
its annoying. because they call at about 7am in the morning to 10 pm at night.

Told their staff they have the wrong number.  The still call back many times.  We need to find the right channels to stop this harrassing phone calling.

My receptionist keeps getting recorded messages from these guys asking us to call them back.  When I call I get a recording giving me a choice of either making an automated payment or holding for an operator.  At no time do they give me their name.  After choosing to speak to an opearator, I am put on hold for a long time and then another recording comes on asking me to leave my name a number for a return call.  At that point I hang up.  We, as a company have no outstanding debts and no reason to believe this call is legitimate.  I really think it is a scam.

AP Debt i assure you there is no scam going on i honestly do not know how everyone on this post comes up with these crazy ideas.... ITS A DEBT COLLECTION AGENCY plain and simple... if your getting calls and its the wrong # its not because we just pick any 10 numbers and call them and hope we get the right person... they were numbers that were supplied by the person they ask for... YES they may be old and they may not be that persons # anymore... but if you answer the phone with a good attitude and tell the person NICELY that we have the wrong # it will get removed... asked for ANDREW JACKSON he'll help you out...

we are recieving numerus calls from this number for someone we do not know.
