US Bank is calling regarding payment of credit card.

They started calling every hour today, 10-10-2011.  Don't leave a message.

They keep calling my cell number asking for a person I do not know. Even though I have explained several times that they have the wrong number and they have promised to take my number off their list, they keep calling several times a day. It is harassment! I understand they are probably trying to collect money from the person they are looking for, but that should not be my problem. How can I get this to stop? HELP!

Here's a tip:  Call a number you know to be disconnected -- record the message on a digital recorder.  When you see unwanted call on caller ID, pick up, play disconnect message, hang up.  It seems to have greatly reduced these calls.

I got a call from this number today, and the "message" was "on-hold" music playing for 10 minutes!
That was VERY helpful.  Not!

These [***] call me every 2 hours.  When they do, I lift up the phone and lay it down, then go about my business.  Within 30 seconds, they hang up.  So why aren't they on my "Selected Call Screening Service?"  Because they use about 25 different numbers, so it's nearly impossible to block these blockheads.  The solution?  Soon my bull horn will arrive and their eardrums will get a test run.  Tee Hee.

Like everyone else, I have no US Bank credit card and don't owe anyone any money and certainly have never dealt with Lexus!  Also like everyone else, I answered the phone once (accidentally) and have been deluged with useless calls about useless things from useless people.

I'm receiving 8-9 calls a day from this number and when I answer all that happens is classical music plays

See if your phone provider has an online option to block it. Go into your account and go under home phone and settings if it's there. If it's your smart phone you can block them as well.

I got so many calls from this number I just cancelled my phone number and got a different one.  The calls stopped.

No clue why they keep calling its annoying i picked up several times no answer, they call about 5 times everyday it is so annoying.I never give house number for any business or personal transaction, so it could not be any important call and they never leave any messages.

[***] these scum bags. Banks are crooks. They monetize our deposits then loan it back out at riciculous interest rates then they harass you if you are late.

I have no idea who this is...I get about 7-8 calls a day from this number. Because I get so many spam calls from other junk I don't answer unknown numbers and they don't leave messages...if this really is US Bank then it might be something I need to follow up on but without messages to me it's jist a scam. Hey companies, how about you use actual people to call out so they can leave messages rather than the piece of crap machines that nobody can talk to?

Repeated calls - a friend answered - collection call. Too bad - money was stolen by ex and attys & sent overseas. IRS has first rights - credit cards can line up after.
